Top tip: to filter a splitter, build all the inputs and outputs _before_ connecting them to the rest of the network. This allows you to configure the splitter before it makes a mess of everything.

Beware that the ratio for the red cubes is still not perfect, in order to use x-ray cracking without excess hydrogen, you need to balance it with regular energized graphite from smelters. What i personally do is to complement the graphite line with a line coming from smelters, and using spliter's priority to merge them correctly so that the graphite from the x-ray cracking has priority.

Hey Nilaus, I got a cool tip for you. You can make belts go over other belts at a lower height, thus reducing the footprint of the bridge, so it can fit in your builds more easily. But it does take a slight fiddle. First you raise it to the level you do, and then you basically have a line where 1 tile is at ground level, 1 is at the halfway level and 1 is at the +1 level. So you remove the one at the +1 level and drag a new line from the halfway level back down. Now your bridge is 0, +.5, +.5, 0, instead of 0, +.5, +1, +.5, 0. But it's important to note that you can't build new lines underneath these types of bridges, so always build the line underneath first.

Easy XRay cracking setup, 1x Mk.II Sorter = 'None' output 1x Mk.I Sorter = H input 1x Mk.I Sorter = Oil input The intuition here is that the Mk.II sorter will output at a rate such that the Mk.I can only pick up 2 items when the Mk.II outputs 3, thereby leaving 1 H on the belt. The input sorter will not pick up graphene, hence if the output sorter puts graphene on the belt, the input sorter will have time to reset. The output can only be one of the following sequences, - HHHG - HHGH - HGHH - GHHH In all of the above sequences, we see that 2 H will appear back to back. In such a case the Mk.I sorter will only be able to pick up one of the H and after that will have to skip the next item on the belt. Effectively the Mk.I sorter will be picking up alternative items (skipping graphene). To make the above setup easily draggable, M M M H/Graphene --↓↑-↓↑-↓↑----> Oil ----↑---↑---↑----> One obvious issue here is that H/Gr will have to be output on the same belt and the system will need to be kick-started either manually or by flooding the output belt with H.
@jaideepsingh6623 жыл бұрын
Also, I have tested with Mk.I belts so I don't know how the Mk.I sorter will react if you use Mk.II or Mk.III belts.

Hey NilausTV, since you gave me the tip with the 90 degrees turns in Satisfactory, here is one from me for DSP: If you want to make one belt go over one or two other belts, you can build it to the next height and delete the last two "segments" and then build again towards the ground and you will have a belt cross up to two belts at only 1/2 height. There is also a way to remove the height entirely and make two belts cross each other (basically what a cross with a splitter would look like without the splitter obstructing the view) but I don't remember exactly how that one worked. Nice to see you play again!

Another amazing how to video. I sued this as the basis for reorganising my production factory on the first planet. Due to fault lines and the way I set up the first production lines it wasn't as straight forward and I had to do a lot of crative work with the belts. However the real gems in these videos are the information on perfect ratios. This really helps with forward planning especially when working out footprints and belt geometry. probably the word is usually used for it's second meaning, but technically is correct to use instead of destroy, although rare
@tlpineapple13 жыл бұрын
English has a load of words that mean the same thing but are only relevant in specific contexts. In the case of devistation, it is correct usage by definition; however, to a native english speaker it sounds wrong. This is because devastation has very strong "emotions" behind it and is almost never used for something that is positive. (as in anything that you would gain a benifit from.) Typically its also used for things the are beyond our control. For example, the devestation of smog, a dragon caused immense destruction. Also, lets say you just got ride of a warehouse to make room for residential development, you woudnt say "I devistated that warehouse." even though that usage is technically correct. Youd replace devistated with destroyed or removed. As a word itself, it is also just far less popular, with words like destroy or ruin being more popular. This further compounds the weirdness when hearing the word.
@brohvakiindova44523 жыл бұрын
@@tlpineapple1 ruin is equally weird for this context and in the same way as devastated, it has to be in the right context to not sound weird... but I think it's also a matter of how the sentence is made as a whole

I strongly agree satisfactory is a nightmare, this type of game isn't really all that well for first person view either imo I'd still like to have the elevators from satisfactory and stackable splitter... well stackable everything really, there is so little purpose to bother with the spaghetti madness when you can make everything flat with logistics stations imagine stackable assemblers which you could feed on individual levels just to make some very compact designs also the splitter is a bit too large for my taste the whole logistics system discourages multi level belt lines but those would be epic (sorry for spamming you with this lol)

Three sorters are used, 2 going from one and 1 coming back. What are those lines? I am asking because my graphite seems to be under-produced. Thanks.
