I'm not sure what apps you are looking for, but as far as government apps, make sure it's the MyICA Mobile- it is free, so don't fall for any scams. If you want to use a rideshare service like Grab or Gojek, you can download those in advance. But the MRT was very convenient. I also used Google maps and it worked great. Have a great trip in Singapore!

The app is required. I forgot to do it once. Instead of offering me a paper form to fill out, the officer said to go on their app on my phone and complete the form while he waited.

Can i ask☺️ were a tourist upon entering Singapore we registered 3 days ahead on their SG Arrival Card, but then were planning to visit Malaysia on the next day via bus and we depart early in the morning and return by night on the same day. My concern is do we need to register again upon entering SG from Malaysia? Thank you.😊

SG arrival is required for tourists via land transport. Now they require electronic submission upon arrival. Safe travels!

It does not take 3 days to process. You can fill it out a day or two before you get to Singapore, since you just found out about it.
