Thanks for your great video. Just wondering we are arriving by flight to Singapore then going straight on a Cruise. Do we put "Day Trip" or "Transit". I'm guessing day trip as we need to clear immigration? Thanks in advance

Thank you! You are correct, since you are clearing immigration, "Day Trip" would be the one. "Transit" mostly used by transit travelers who just want to see the Jewel or take the free Singapore tour bus within a short time frame. Although they still need to clear the immigration too.

Thank you for the help! I’ll be visiting soon, but I will have a layover in Istanbul for a few hours. So that will be one flight from the US to Istanbul. Then layover for 6 hours, then flight from Istanbul to Singapore. In this case, which flight number should I put into the “flight number” section? Thanks

Was waiting for a more concrete answer from ICA. In case of connecting flight, please input your last flight connecting with Singapore. Example, flying from New York to Singapore but a connecting flight in Japan. Input "Japan".

hello, im from Colombia, the thing is that i have a flight from madrid to singapur with etihad airlines, and then a layover for about 5 hours until my next flight to Australia with another airline (I claim my luggage in Singapore) , do i still need the SG arrival card? thank you!

Hello @darlysuarez1744, once you need to clear immigration in order to claim your luggage , then you still need to use the SG arrival card. After filling up your initial detail, later in the Trip Information section, under the "Type of Accommodation in Singapore", select the "Others" option. Then under the "Accommodation (Other)", select the "Day Trip" option. (Unless somehow, you can claim your luggage within the terminal, without going through the immigration checkpoint.) If your layover don't require you to collect your luggage, then you don't need to use the SG arrival card.

Hi, you can submit under "Group Submission", 1 SG arrival card for the whole family. All the individual members information must be input under the group submission. If you are using the webpage, after completing the lead traveller information, select the add travellers icon at the bottom right corner, to add the rest of the family members. If you are using the MobileApp, select the "Group Submission" icon, and complete all the travellers information.

No, vaccination proof is not required to be uploaded. For tourist - "There are no longer any COVID-19 measures for travellers arriving in Singapore from 13 Feb 2023, regardless of vaccination status or traveller profile."

Hello...In case of family vacation (6 person) arrive at Changi in the morning, only 1 day trip in Singapore without accomodation, and then go to another country by night flight different airlines. How to fill the arrival card for accomodation and trip information?

Hi!....For your day trip, once you in the SG Arrival Card submission website, after filling up your initial detail, later in the Trip Information section, under the "Type of Accommodation in Singapore", select the "Others" option. Then under the "Accommodation (Other)", select the "Day Trip" option. Then fill in the rest of the information required, and that's it. Hope the above help you.

As long you don't exit through the immigration and stay within the transit area, then you don't have to fill out the SG Arrival Card.

What if I submit the application more than one time by mistake? For example one individual application and another one in group application. Will there be any problem? And what if I make a mistake in my application form and submit? Is there any way of correction or I have to submit again from scratch? Thanks in Advance.

If submit more than 1 time or if there is an error, you can go to the group section to edit it, by unchecking the box from the lead travellers. Even if you have submitted, as long it has not expired, you can go to the "Update a Submission" options and edit from there. Hope it helps.

I applied SG arrival card. I arrive Singapore on 4/8/23. On 7/8 leave Singapore to Malaysia Melaka. 8/8 to Kuala Lumpur. 10/8 Malaysia Tanah Rata. On 11/8 Malaysia Penang then 13/8 flight to Singapore then change flight to the US. The question about disembarkation I fill up Malaysia Penang. It’s right?

I presume your 13/8 flight to Singapore is only flight transfer within the airport, and not getting through the immigration. For internal flight transfer you don't need to fill in the SG arrival card. The port of disembarkation after Singapore should be Malaysia Melaka. The date of departure should be 7/8. You still can must amendment after you submit the arrival card. Hope it help.

I have submitted an individual arrival card submission (and received the email of acknowledgement) via app. It's been about exactly 24 hours since then, which means I'm now 2 days right before my planned arrival to Singapore. Am I supposed to wait for another email? How long does it usually take for it to be in my email? Would I be notified in some way if my submission is rejected, etc.?

Hi @JaySeamus, you will receive an acknowledgement email sent to the email address declared in your SGAC upon successful submission. So that's the one you had received. (i believe if your submission is rejected, you won't received the acknowledgement email) Once you arrived in Singapore and pass through the immigration checkpoint, then you will received the last email and that's your E-pass. The E-Pass will be sent to the email address declared in your SG Arrival Card. Please therefore ensure that the email address provided in the SG Arrival Card is valid and accessible by you. Hope it help.

Yes, you need to re apply again. If you know the actual date that you will be traveling to Malaysia, you can actually enter the information when you first apply for the SG arrival card, as you can register up to 3 trips at 1 time. Even if it is a last minute trip, you can still apply before proceeding for immigration clearance. The submission or updating a SG Arrival Card is free of charge.

I have done major mistake in filling out the form. Actually, i will come singapore by air but in form, i have addressed it by land and now i am not able to change it. I have made new application of arrival card with correct mode of travel but what about the previous one? Does that will impact the new form? How do I withdraw or cancel the previous one?

No worry, the new form will supersede the old one. You don't have to withdraw or cancel the previous one. In the future, if there's any error, you can always go back under "Update a Submission" and amend the information .

You can fill out under the "Group submission", once you had fill out your information, you can add your wife information by selecting the "Add Traveller l+" option.

I note the card application must be made within a tight 72 hour window before arrival. What do you do if you are arriving by cruise ship and the ship is at sea with limited or no access to the internet during this time and it is not possible to lodge the application electronically or to receive the required acknowledgement to present to the Singapore authorities. The old paper form would have worked but that seems to have been discarded.

i presume the port have the free-Wifi too. But it's always good to do it in advance. On the website, select the "FAQ" option at the top, then it will bring you to the page. Select the SG Arrival Card. Refer to Question 17 - eservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard/ Below is the quote: Q17: What should I input for "Vehicle Number" if I do not have the transport details before/at arrival? A:If you are travelling by rail, you may wish to submit your declaration on the same day of your arrival when you have the vehicle number. Alternatively, you may submit the declaration beforehand and indicate “TRAIN” under Vehicle Number. If you are travelling by Bus, you may input “BUS”. When the train/bus number is available, you may update your declaration via: a) "Update a Submission" if you are using the SG Arrival Card e-Service; or b) Select the submitted SG Arrival card record and tap on the "Edit" button if you are using the SG Arrival Card mobile application.

You can do the following: Q16: I am unable to find my airline under the Commercial flight list. What should I do? A: You may select “PRIVATE/CARGO AIRLINE/OTHERS” option under “Mode of travel (Details)” dropdown, and input your flight details under the “Carrier Name/Flight number” field. Foreign citizens from visa-exempt countries can travel to Singapore for tourism and spend a period from 30 up to 90 days visa-free, depending on their nationality, do check your embassy. (In SG Arrival card, you need to indicate your departure date, so don't exceed that date) Foreign citizens that require a VISA to enter Singapore, must first apply the VISA. The period is depending on your VISA.

I think Singapore is trying to go digital and trying to let the tourists enter Singapore more easier and faster with security in place. They are actually allowing travelers from some countries to enter Singapore by just using the automated clearance gates, no more queuing at the counter. But they must first enrol into the programme.

It was supposedly in your passport to see what dates thats why we have paspport not in an email or sms in your celpons not good idea for me!
