How i use ai is that i will generate everything for the story by myself and then ask ai to generate the first draft and then rewrite the scene dialogue for my liking. Writing the first draft is so much work that i think ai is perfect for this.

AI is a tool that can be used for cheating (with mediocre output) or it can be used to just augment processes, but not taking over creativity... same way how we all use computers instead of typewriters... it all depends on what the tech is channeled into and what the users/devs intention is. But I understand the question marks around it :)

Hm AI is not what we now know but imagine what it will be like in 10 years. To reject AI seems to me unwise, and we should rather explore and encourage the potential it brings. Espcially since new and much more sophisticated tools are being developed all the time. To reject downright as useless, reminds of how people used to reject computers as human enemies and so on. I for my part want to explore the possibilites while valuing my own creativity and critical faculties. I’m certainly skeptical of short cuts and not afraid that AI will replace us. It will rather be a healthy competition for us all.
