Hello from Canada, dear Elok Hsu! I'm so glad you're getting the chance to listen to this vocal masterpiece. While The Righteous Brothers worked as a duo, alternating leads and harmonies, they also recorded several songs as solo songs on their albums. That's why this one is only Bobby Hatfield singing instead of including Bill Medley as well. This TV performance is probably the finest live recording ever done in all of Rock history. Behind the scenes, Bobby's mum was in the audience that night and was the first time he'd performed in front of her for a few years. Despite his nervousness and having a slight cold, he sang this even better than he had for the officially released single. He uses almost all of his four and a half octave range here, sliding effortlessly from note to note and creating the greatest version of this song ever performed. As you said, no autotune, no pitch correction and no studio fakery at all. Just one of the greatest voices of all time. No one has ever done this song as well as Bobby did it. Take care and stay safe please, my friend. ♥

If you haven't already heard the Righteous Brothers You've Lost That Loving Feeling, you might consider doing that one as well. Bill Medley does the lead vocal on that one. In the U.S., it was the most played song on radio in the 20th Century. I enjoy your reactions and appreciate how you communicate with your hands and eyes during the music.

Great song, it’s a classic. It reminds me and probably a lot of people of the movie ghost which is if you haven’t seen you should see it. It’s an old one, but a good one.
