This song it's so beautifully done by both singers, that I wish it lasted at least ten minutes. Unbelievable talent, and voices.

Oh how they completed one another and held each other up. I miss the talent of the 60s that I was privileged to grow up in.

Kudos to the orchestra as well, the soaring swelling strings lifting their voices and carrying us onward. That piano though! Just incredible, made me a bit teary, but a wonderful message, always have hope in your heart.

Such a great, heartfelt reaction to these men and that song. We were in the middle of the Viet Nam War and this song was sung a lot during that time but I think this was probably the most touching performance for me.

I always love everything these guys do together. I saw this performance years ago and forgot about it. I mean I saw it years ago on KZbin, I wasn’t alive during this time, lol. This is definitely the best version of “you’ll never walk alone” that I’ve ever heard.

Bill Medley baritone and Bobby Hatfield Counter Tenor are a match made in heaven. "You'll Never Walk Alone" is from the (1956) Movie Musical "Carousel" Frist sung by actor/singer Gordon Macrae in the movie.
It (Carousel) was first a 1945 Broadway Musical that had the song "You'll Never Walk Alone."

Wonderful, thoughtful and appreciative reaction as you always offer us all. Thank you. To give credit for this material, where credit is most deservedly due, the song "You'll Never Walk Alone" was written by Richard Rodgers (music) and Oscar Hammerstein II (lyrics) for the Broadway musical "Carousel," that opened in New York in 1945, running for 890 performances. Many singers have taken this uplifting song as part of their recording careers, but its origin is on the Broadway stage by Rodgers & Hammerstein. You can hear Christine Johnson, the woman who sang it in the original Broadway production, here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZ3WhpmFn7ubqK8
