"The Ring" Movie Location Caching: Yaquina Head Lighthouse Geocaching!

While on a roadtrip through Oregon, we stop at Yaquina Head Lighthouse since this was a movie location for one of my favorite movies: "The Ring". This lighthouse was used in some background shots and the infamous flyby scene that combined it with the "ranch location" which is in Moroe, Washington! :P

Anxiety wasn't my goal. :O But it is interesting hearing you say that because when they filmed that movie, they mainly filmed on cloudy days with no direct sunlight (and shadows) and the green filter to cause the sense of unease.

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect "crappy, rainy" day for it. LOL! It fit the atmosphere of the movie perfectly. I like that the color grading that I did actually worked out better than my "Permission" GIFF project. Next episode is of us going on an adventure "just like the Goonies"!

Our first time here! We want to do a tour of the lighthouse. We got caught up with another group in this episode (that's why we walk in on this episode when we do) but when we found out that it was a private group, we quickly left! LOL!
