maybe it just hit me in the right mood but this was probably my favorite episode so far, the Tom Bombadil stuff worked pretty much perfectly for me, loved the vibe and the end credits song, loved the Ents, the Elves were cool, it's not flawless but I enjoyed it very much

I don't think the stranger is Gandalf. In the lore there were two blue wizards. I personally am looking forward to seeing his journey of him harnessing his power. In the case he is Gandalf, i think once i know his backstory, lore or not, i will love him a thousand times more. The showrunners have said some storylines will not resolve until the last season. So everybody, be patient. Thanks for the reaction ❤

Yeah I saw this theory that what they are doing is adapt both blue wizards stories. There is one that the blue wizards are corrupted and there is this second that say they help the easterlings inspiring them to good. I really hope this is it, I didn't matter about the Gandalf stuff but now that there is a second Istar, I'm a little bit careful if they will not try to make him Saruman, which will be a mess up.
