I dont think its because Sauron isnt a master black smith. I think everyone trusts Celebrimbor and trusts his friendships and abilities. They would be more favorable to accept a gift from him than a stranger they dont know of. The dwarf prince Durin the 4th didnt question Celebrimbor's abilities but did mistrust Saurons.

Yaaaayyyy you posted! I was waiting for your reaction of this episode! I wam SO MFING MAD that this Kemen killed Valandil. I literally almost threw my laptop. His friendship with Isildur made me think he would be beside him in the Battle of The Last Alliance. That really hurt, because he died thinking Isildur is dead. And Isuldur saved his the life of his murderer in S1, if you remember. I need him to die painfully.

The series is all about that, traveling around Sauron's falling into the real darkness he is at the end of second age and third. The war is coming in the next episodes, let's see what he's up to.

I liked the episode but I just felt it was very rushed like almost so much so that I didn’t even want to watch any reactions of the episode because it just felt very rushed and yes even though it’s an hour It still wasn’t enough to tell this duration of the story ya know it needed at least 2 hrs this episode to really get the story right and fix the super fast pacing during yeh episode like The moment King durin puts the ring on he immediately starts to change the changes didn’t happen that fast it took well into the third age before the rings really corrupted them and I know they have to speed things along but this is also what’s wrong with Only having 8 episodes like we love the hour long episodes but if there is not enough episodes during the season it just makes the story feel super rushed and this episode it definitely was
