I just built this today. This build with the Cold Shoulder is so Over Powered it has changed my game. I worry that Bethesda will nerf it after the season is over. I don't even have all the cards maxed out, and I was able to kill 12 scorch beasts in a row... all by myself! with the Cold Shoulder!... You can absolutely make them land with this shotgun. And less than two loads (16 shots) will kill the beast with some left over for the scorched that try to distract me... I'm full health build and I never eat or drink... until it's too late.

The seasonal theme should have all the seasonal rewards be themed and placed on the scoreboard. And not Fallout 1st locked (that lodge is too cool). The themed seasons should be full blown like Nuka World on Tour did, really good update IMO, added a bunch of stuff to a basically dead area. Why not have Rip Daring at the Blackwood lodge or his own lodge in the Mire or something?

My build is similar in some ways, but I use the shotgun up close and medium range and use the Nuka Cola Launcher at extended range … only need to add in the Inteligence explosive perk and the Perception range for explosions perk for the launcher to be effective. I call my build COLD CHAOS as it is wonderfully messy up close and at range!!!

The fact that explosive weapons really only need demo expert to be good is fantastic. It alows you to use them with pretty much any build and pairs perfectly with heavy guns. And it allows me to use the thirst zapper on my pistol build

Yes, the guns phone for a little bit until you realize how much ammo uses because you’re having a shoot things year-old 3 to 5 times it’s terrible and spices cause all shotguns are white shotguns are not boss killers so you have to have another weapon that you’re really just using an exploiter chainsaw in the auto accident first person in order to kill bosses I am bet you would’ve been better off right from the start with the cross. I do a shot glass shotgun, which even a full house is kind of more or less let you do shop every mob in the game my phone times you shoot one/damage damage is the other one that you want shot that one bar or kill her when I’m in an explosive weapon, FLK, Aaron, an explosive do a shot shotgun with a Clarin. It is still going to be better than this one because of the way explosive damages calculated you’re getting more out of the explosions and mouse art resistant mostly do explosions. I really literally don’t heal myself I just want my health drop down to 20% do you use the stamp back I am accumulating more super steals that way then I was when I was using healing factor between waves and still ring when I need it to for some reason I’ve got like 300 super stems I start every day and every day with more sober styles, NFC, including selling all the regular, stay on the phone and the bird

why batteries included when using shotgun shells? unless i missed something shells are ballistic (bandolier). Also why run both thru hiker and traveling pharm when you can have one of those on a backpack opening up 3 points in str or agl

Six SPECIAL points can be saved by using 3 Rank 1 Shotgunner perk cards. That give you +30 damage while maxing it only doubles it, not triples it, to 60. Helpful especially for lower level players.

That goes for any of the weapon damage perks that have 3 for max damage. Also good for having more perks like Bandolier or Ordnance Express if you're a lunatic with ammo (I hoard like mad and give away too). Also this gun Cold Shoulder without the hardcore VATS build is really good.

@@michaelmott1498 You can use 3 star shotgun stuff, just use a 1/1/1 layout to start and never use a 3/0/0 layout. If you want to use a 3/3/3 layout there’s nothing wrong with that, only it’s only twice the boost of 1/1/1 (but three times the boost of 3/0/0). If you want to use those perk points somewhere else for an everyday layout that’s where to start, but if you’re going for a boss killer layout maybe 3/3/3 is the best. As for your armor, sounds like you likely have a piece of unyielding equipped. Unyielding is used primarily for bloody builds, but doesn’t hurt running full health builds since it doesn’t decrease damage the greater the health, rather increases damage the lower the health.

Also for lower levels, might be good to mention that since each hit stacks when using a shotgun with multiple pellets per shot, rank 1 Tenderizer is good enough to give you the max 40% damage bonus if at least 4 or the 8 pellets hit the target.

@@ericcastillo8961 yep, every pellet stacks in the first shot, then the second you get the full 40% boost from tenderizer, ditto for suppressor, but if you do crank it up to 10%, then you're two shot guns get a 20% boost, which is nice too =)

Yeah, I do the same thing turn all. I keep my fusion cores because they won’t go and ammo box and I take a lot of weight away from the stash. I just keep in mind me and I always have the card on no matter one bill van running. I just keep a card on a storm on my character just like people used to do with ammo other animals that don’t have to now because they can throw it all mammal box McMaster amount, and it doesn’t get all require temperature in around on their character. I love that ammo box for my opinion that is the besides the stash, the scram stash that’s the single most effective recent purchase fallout first

You don’t need a belt for your chainsaw but you must be in first person without a belt and third person. Your chainsaw will be fairly ineffective how many it’ll do damage, but in first person it’ll do damage by three or four times faster.

The cold shoulder is a a lot of fun and when I was all I’m a stop in and had the right Parkers. I think I was getting like 200 damage on the gun and just under 200 Cole damage so it was doing a fair amount of damage and it does fire relatively fast, but I still think the cross shotgun is a better choice. It’s negatively explosive. The explosive range was never Nerf, like it was on regular shotguns, so you can still smoke at fairly decent range weather either gun is mostly Etosha kill and most banks but if you’re going to pick one weapon, the guy shotgun is doing more damage at a greater range. It was a lot of fun though to Jeff runaround fair thing and double tapping everything reminded me of the quad explosive I used to have before they Nerf the explosive range, but I would simply rather go with the explosion from the cold. Because I always have demo expert in grenadier.

yes, it turned out to be quite a nice little weapon. however, I wanted to note something else. so I looked back at your older videos. and I saw interesting things there about distance. Range precisely. What I would like to say is that yes, the negative range is not good in any way. however, if it is only a little smaller than, say, what you are used to, it is still completely usable. True, there are conditions. You have to be a tank first. Whether you want to use it with a bloodied build or at max health, you have to make sure that your armor can withstand a few slaps. the weapon I chose is the following. Combat shotgun, fully automatic. Now the question may arise, why? When there is a better weapon for a short fun, and it is also a fact that the auto shotgun does not have a >prime< auto version, which is clearly a disadvantage. however, what saves the weapon from this trouble is none other than the legi effect. If you're lucky, you spin a quad, anti-armor, or bloodied first effect, this is the dps weapon so far. the second effect must always be fire rate. The third one doesn't really matter that much, but if I had to choose, I'd keep the one that has, say, reduced weight or breaks more slowly. What will keep you alive would be a secondary shotgun. And the primary effect would be vampire. This is together with the rate of fire that the secondary max effect gives the weapon plus the mod, you practically hold down the left mouse button and it's done. If the recoil control is good, it's an easy win. In contrast to the other shotguns, the auto shotgun does not necessarily do as much damage at once, but the speed with which it deals the damage is indeed serious. if it has a quad effect, you don't need a drum magazine, because you can pump a good 32 shots into the opponent because of the piercing magazine. If, say, Anti-armor or bloodied, vampire is a roll, then the bigger magazine is indeed needed, but in this case it is good to have faster reloading among the perks. Perhaps as a third option, I consider a kind of support option. In this case, the suppressor effect must be the primary one, and the rest are the same as what I have described so far. And now I mean it, because the shotgun with the name "Suppressor" is a bad joke. I've tried using it in several ways with other mods, but it's just ridiculous. and before anyone says that I'm stupid and such, give it a try. I didn't write this here as a joke, it's a simple face-tank build. I use these weapons in the same way as the new Cold Shoulder. I admit when someone says they need distance. However, I'm gay and prefer to stick the barrel of a rifle up the enemy's ass like Doomguy and shoot them like that. 😎

Shaker are great for bosses although if you’re going to do it, the pepper shakers the way to go, but no shotgun is great at killing bosses. The guy shotgun is the most powerful shotgun in the game. I miss the "Lazy builds" I'd like to see a reinvasion now that saws are so good. There are a lot of players picking up the game right now. That means a lot of players looking for an easy path to a competent build so they can focus on the story and events. I think builds where you can hold your own and also invest 90% of your loadout into quality of life perks should get more attention.

I've missed your builds turtle! I still think it's amazing how such a beast of a weapon is so low on the scoreboard. Does your Bos build still hold up do you think? I'm starting a new character and that build really appeals to me, i honestly don't really care for meta or mutations...

bos build works but definitely it's not highest dps build it's role play build

you whipped them all out first and then use serums to apply mutations
