Some of his better stuff is simply accessible jazz and funk. Imagine a land of a billion people who had never been exposed to the outside world, suddenly getting gems like this being played everywhere they went. No wonder he hit it big in China. I'm beyond blessed my country got to hear this fresh music.

Hace ya treinta años que The Rippingtons (@rippingtons) publicaba "Moonlighting", su álbum debut editado en 1986 con el sello GRP Records, un trabajo que los llevo al puesto #5 en el chart de Jazz de Billboard (@billboard), ocho temas en los que tuvieron colaboradores de lujo como Dave Koz (@DaveKozMusic), David Benoit (@dbmusic), o Kenny G (@officialkennyg) y Gregg Karukas que están presentes en este "She Likes to Watch", Karukas además era el responsable de los teclados en todo el álbum. Un trabajo excelente que era solo el principio de una carrera que aún continua. #NowAndTHEN #SmoothJazz
