Deepwoken being a dead game is a stretch. I think the biggest part of deepwoken is the build creation, this gives such a MASSIVE variety to players. Unless you’re in a specific meta of deepwoken where you can tell what someone is using just off a few hints, you can basicaly never guess what your enemy is using. I think the biggest motivation killer to making builds is power 16 to 20, which is why it takes determinatiom for people to use whatever they feel like making that day. Overall, for making deepwoken content and having fun in deepwoken, it’s not impossible, you just have to get creative.

I think part of this is caused by some developers not acknowledging the Testers input, and only changing things when they play their game and realize how bad it is Take Shade Wisp for example: It did NOT get past the testing phase, as most testers didn't want it added at all, and it was solely added because a developer didn't like parry demons and wanted to land hits easier.

I personally think overtime the more you play, the easier it gets. So i think people have gotten burnout. I got one of my friends to play deepwoken currently, and hes having alot of fun with it. The penalty for death is not there if you learn how to fight the mobs. The making if builds for pvp isnt something i can talk about cuz i have 800 elo. I feel like because elo chime ranks builds became more curated to fighting in chime. I hope that the conquest will help with diversity by making diffrent game modes. Ironsing on release was broken and still kinda is, for layer 2 they shouldve made an openworld and then the current one we have as an optional duengon. But nonetheless i enjoy it alot more with the friends im teaching how to play the game.

You might be a little slow on the uptake. Deepwoken is still a developing game, and as a game it might be falling at the moment, but the next revival exists. There is no fall, this is merely the natural course of the game. It's literally not a matter of "if", merely a matter of "when".

Cant wait for the devs to cook again and revive deepwoken, what i honestly wished was that deepwoken could get a little more beginner friendly. my friend who plays arcane odyssey wanted to play deepwoken with me. being that i pushed him for around 1 and a half year to do so he agreed and his first time playing was horroundus he was violated by voidwalkers power twenties and more. he said if he maybe didnt loose his stuff he wouldnt be as angry at the game and hate it as if it was a father meeting his daughters boyfriend

I personally dont think that the game should be at fault for a lack of content. When it comes to these sorts of games, its actually rare to find one that gets consistent updates. A playerbase dropping isnt anything new and it doesnt necessarily mean that a game is dying. I love deepwoken, it has its faults and albeit some TERRIBLE faults but i cant deny the experiences and interactions that ive had when playing.

Of course big updates would attract new players but I must say that these kind of videos makes them go away. Saying it is dying is too soon. So here’s the real state of Deepwoken : -Toxic but active community ( guilds, discord servers ) -4K to 9k players ( depends how appreciated an update is ) -weekly updates with some content every time -Big updates coming every year ( really big ) -Big Open World -Good lore -Tons of diversity in character creation -Rogue-like -Not p2w ( for a Roblox game this is insane ) -Cost money 😢 -Lots of Content Creators ( Decent views if it’s important for you ) Tell me if I forgot something

what is deepwoken? a very hard game that is so hard you have to learn every single pattern AND have full muscle memory on monsters. the fun in that fucking game is that you gain LOTS of dopamine when you are not scared of a place/boss anymore.

the devs need to play the game. look at rag when he used Jus Karita and look ash the buffs. honestly they should do that but first nerf ice and remove pisionshaper because pisionshaper is no skill and just makes the game worse. but I can't do everything, the community of this game leads to its downfall as well. (aka, shadow crypt blade contractor users, iron signers, depot spear clones, the pop tank vid youtubers that cut out all their fails, etc.) this game is amazing, but lack of big updates and a shitass community are fucking it up.
