I used 2go in 2009. I remember MTN giving free 10 MB anytime you load ₦100. I could use that for weeks. Nokia C1-01. Memorable times, made lifetime friends.

Whereas as of 2009 you can't register 2go using Nigeria number because Nigeria is not enabled then so you can't receive otp. 2go came officially to Nigeria in 2010 which I joined in February 2010 through my Nigeria friend in Kenya that introduced me to to that for easy communication. I was in ss2 as of then using Nokia 6630 symbian phone

Remembered using it at JSS2 in 2012 by 2015 in SS2 we already switched to WhatsApp. More like maturing. I feel WhatsApp coming up killed it in Nigeria. They couldn't just compete against Meta. Keep going. Nice content, magnatesmedia of Africa
