You're ignoring the culture at the time. In 2014 most people thought Jessi was a liar. I was in 8th grade at the time and I remember hearing about it and thinking "that can't be true". You can't expect everybody to be a cultural hero. Most people are just going to try and blend in as best as possible to protect themselves. It is really easy to criticize people for not standing up and "doing the right thing" years later. I bet most of her detractors don't stand up and "do the right thing" now.

This video doesnt cover the Jessi and Gabbie situation correctly. This problem with Jessi and Gabbie started when this girl tweeted the thing about Gabbie defending Curtis, and then Gabbie went on this girl's DMs and started saying that Jessi is a liar and telling her all sorts of private information pertaning to Jessi. That was the reason Jessi made her first video. In response to that, Gabbie took to twitter and youtube saying that she never defended Curtis (which she did) and started this smear campaign against Jessi So Gabbie is saying that she never defended him and at the same time she's saying that she already apologized to Jessi for her tweets discrediting Jessi when the news broke out in 2013 Gabbie claims that Jessi will never leave her alone because she already apologized when they became friends years ago, and that Jessi keeps going All the while, Jessi says that that apology was retracted the second Gabbie started denying doing something that needed an apology in the first place. You should watch Jessi's videos, no need to listen to the whole 3 hour phone call

Looking back at the Trisha vs Gabbie situation I feel like people were more mad at who Gabbie decided to pledge her allegiance to. She had two options she could 1) be a good friend to Jason but possibly spread a lie about Trisha or 2) be a good friend to Trish and ask her directly about it but possibly put Jason’s health at risk. She sided with Jason and I feel people were just mad at that rather than looking at the situation objectively because Trisha was in the public’s favor at that point in time.

I wish people could see her as a human. We know that people through out history pick certain people that are written off a okay to degrade, decide they have no truth, or capability to heal and fix their brokenness. They were paying for her Patreon and Gabbie did not engage as promised so they were paying for no additional content. Once they had enough they started their own Discord to talk amongst themselves. They were all former fans of hers and then Gabbie infiltrated it and threatened to sue them. Claiming she was collecting their IP address and her legal team would be contacting their parents 😂 Like who does that?! She is just as mean to her fans as she is to her haters.
