I remember my first solo flight being 13 and catered so well in Jet Airways. The air hostess was so nice, she let me sleep along the three seats that were empty and provided me with blankets. I asked for a pepsi and then dozed off. Then, woke up during landing, so she gave it to me then. I felt so welcomed.

Times have changed, so has our attitude. I’m ashamed to be Indian , we have such bad manners and etiquettes. There used to be a time when I loved my country , by the way this is irrespective of any political affiliations.

When I was at Mumbai last year I saw those vacant planes parked at Mumbai airport. It was a sad thing to see that. But why can't Jet Airways make some money by selling their airlines to other companies?

As a Indian migrant who lives in the Gulf (Oman), we always choose Jet Airways to go to our homeland (Kerala), because of low prices and food in the plane. It's just sad that an airline I was travelled for so long is no more🙁. Hope they recover! 🙏

Naresh Goyal didn't gain a loss my dad was a employee of jetairways since 1994 his children aren't interested in the business owned by their father and he's earned enough for the rest of his life so he has nothing to do with the employees even after 2 years the company didn't pay the employee so many children lost their father ! they should pay the employee some amount of money.

The best airline in India that ever was. Always punctual, polite staff, and generous with servings. All the new low cost airlines provide no service except fly you places whether on time is a different matter. It's sad Jet had to shut down.

Instead of lowering ticket price, they could have offered lifetime passes like united airlines. Also Mercedes wouldn't be mercedes if everyone could afford it u know.. The price should be reasonable but but not low

Brut, this is not the entire story. It's too blunt. I know the truth why jet went down since I have association with this company through my closest member. Goyal began siphoning money out of jet to his own other company parallels. He was slowly taking the company's money into his own pockets. Say, for catering and ground services he'll take a contract with very high price and pump jet airways fund into his own companies. Also, congress was suppoeting Goyal in bringing in black money. When government changed to BJP, they stopped his funds. All hell break loose for Goyal then. That's how the airline went down. Mind it, Goyal was the one who didn't allow Tata to start an airline in late 2000's. He had strong support of the government then.

Jet was NOT owned by Naresh Total. He was just the CMD. It was owned by a company called Tailwinds that was based in Mauritius. Check it out. Guess what? Nobody knew who owned Tailwinds! The inside story is that Goyal himself made Jet sink so as to protect that guy's identity.
