What your saying could be the case but at the same time you have to keep in mind that alot of people liked his editing style and so alot more channels started popping up editing in a similar way which also lead to more competition and also keep in the mind niche he is in cause alot of youtubers in that niche don't perform too well after a certain time you might have a big video that went viral and a couple might perform well a few times but eventually his viewership will eventually go down that's standard youtube. so i wouldn't say he fell off cause even if he kept he could make a video go viral again and then it will go back to the regular views trust me it's normal
