RedNiNo Fioz When I had political conversations with friends, I used to say that the only thing that could change my country is a benevolent dictatorship. Democracy is too chaotic to drive positive change, and my people have a culture far removed from that of European countries for whom a democratic and capitalist system works. Ideally, a benevolent dictatorship would break the cycle, but that could never exist because a dictatorship cannot persist without corruption and oppression. I'm sad to say it, but I've lost hope for the betterment of my country.

Elijah Mikhail I was thinking about implementing a system like Libertarianism. It hasn't really been tried before but I think it might work. Since the government would be really small and almost powerless, trying to corrupt it would be useless and it would allow power to be held in the hands of the people and smaller governments at the municipal level. It would allow capitalism to flourish and remove all the inefficiencies of the state. There could even be a dictator who would only be responsible for foreign policy and the military. My idea here isn't finish but let me know what you think of it so far.

Bob Bytes I’ve always favoured a libertarian socialist model for the government, but it comes with many setbacks. For example, if each industry were owned completely by the union of workers in that sector, workers of less profitable industries would be economically disadvantaged. This could lead their workers to change sectors leading to those industries’ labour shortage and possible collapse. The market would have to be stable enough for the system to work. I should also mention that my mother land is the Philippines where development is centred around the Manila area, while the rest of the country remains undeveloped and dependent upon the agricultural sector. However, the growing demand for manufactured goods has led the national government’s shift to favouring the export of manufactured goods over agricultural commodities, crippling the other regions. A free market would allow the Manila area, with its preexisting manufacturing facilities to continue to flourish far more than the rest of the state. Not to mention, regions with very little to no industrial development AND land that’s unsuitable for agriculture, will remain in poverty. I know that the obvious solution to this is for the indigenous communities to emigrate into population centres within the state. However, racism continues to be a problem for my country, and the only solution that comes to mind is forced assimilation, which I fully understand to be immoral. I’d like to hear your ideas though.

They idolise them a little differently than other people because they know that that person comes from the same background, people who are not from the same background will idolise them but it won't be in the same way. Religion, ethnicity, nationality these things do have a little something to do with it. My economics teacher in college was Benazeers cousin. I was in his class when this happened and it was so sad. I admired her so much. He would always share how beautiful and fun Iran was before all the corruption and the taliban. Since youve been talking about previous female leaders: I would like to point out the Philippines' own Iron Lady: Miriam Defensor Santiago She was lawyer, professor, judge, philosopher, author, and statesman, who served in all three branches of the Philippine government: judicial, executive, and legislative. She had the intellect and the guts to criticize all major aspects of the Philippine government who has continuously shown rampant corruption. She became the logical voice in the Senate, and has dedicated her life to serving our country. She was the first Filipina and Asian from a devlping country to be elected as judge of the ICC. She ran for president three times: - 1992 - 1998 - 2016 - 5 months after the 2016 election, she died because of lung cancer. Just read her Wikipedia page and you'll be impressed.
