Early Valorant was more fun because you could find some OP strat & abuse it. But people complained about every OP strat they didn't use, which eventually gets all OP strats nerfed. And the reality is, a very well-balanced game is just boring. You end up having to follow the meta to squeeze out a miniscule advantage rather than abusing 1 of 500 different entertaining strats to win.

Ranked needs verification, imo. Almost every game there is one player clearly better than the rest, going 35 and 6 or whatever. Yeah people can have a good game but its kinda ridiculous now. I havent had an even game for 2 episodes or so. Feelsbadman

Literally everyone hates abyss, clove was fun for the first week, and not everyone can get the skin or content. Look at cs. At the least they had a community map maker to do fun stuff with.

I think the biggest problem is how much of a deathmatch ranked is. The elo system is entirely KD up until immortal. Also, I can't imagine enjoying this game casually. The only way I play it casually is smurfing, which is toxic.

I feel like the main issue for ranked is that no one can agree about how the game should be played. One person runs it down and the others have to follow despite wanting to play slow or fake. That makes it so the only way to have fun is too get a team with a similar mindset to you

My account was hacked for the second time, and despite providing all the proof I could to Riot's support team, they’ve outright refused to return it to me. Instead of offering a solution, Riot Support repeatedly closes my tickets, claiming it’s “to protect other players from being hacked.” If player security is truly the priority, why not improve your account security systems? Other companies, like Rockstar Games, have implemented robust measures to protect their players-why can’t Riot do the same? I’ve invested both my time and hard-earned money into this account. As a student, the amount I’ve spent might seem small to Riot, but it’s a lot for me. It feels like Riot doesn’t value its loyal players once they’ve made their purchases. What makes this even more frustrating is that Riot continues to roll out new skins every few weeks, and players buy them without realizing this kind of thing can happen to them. Is this how you treat your community? Permanently lock accounts without fair resolution? I hope Riot reconsiders its approach to account security and customer support. Players like me deserve better.

Kind of disagree with this take. I think most ppl that are burned out with Val rn just play it too much. You need to go to do other things before coming back and playing it again. Every time I find myself burning out on Val I take a couple weeks break and focus on my other hobbies instead and it helps my mental and enjoyment of the game a lot. All Val players need to learn how to take breaks for sure. Also, its pretty clear Riot want the game to be a hardcore game centered and balanced around the esport so you cant have OP or lopsided guns or abilities in the game. Its not meant for casuals and they can certainly do a better job to create modes for casual players but asking for dumb/op things in the game to abuse in ranked is just going to kill the game. Just look at Overwatch's current dying state if you disagree.

I don't think it is going to die soon unless they introduce garbage maps like abyss. This is not freaking minecraft. What you can add to it is very limited. One thing I hate about riot is that they let people get into ranked very easily with no verification or anything. Matches in the lower lobbies are arguably harder cause of insane smurfing, and the game punishes your rank severely regardless of the match. The game does not care that one guy is getting 40+ kills, it just slaps you with -20 rr in a match where you can do absolutely nothing to win. So I would say even if the game may not be dead, I think the solo Q playerbase in the lower lobbies might decrease over time.

The content definitely became stale. I have I think 4 Valorant channels I'm subbed you, you included, and this is the first Valorant video I've watched in probably at least a year. When every video follows the same formula and everything is almost exactly the same, it gets very repetitive and boring as a viewer. I loved your videos, especially with the Bucky right click - I even tried to learn the playstyle myself once upon a time. But then everything being the same pushed me away from all Valorant content in general

Custom game lobbies is a great start towards fun again. Let players join others lobbies similar to OW and let us make more tweaks to settings in those lobbies. watch eggwick for some examples there.

low level ranked elo is really hard to get out of. No one takes it seriously or they intentionally and blatantly throw. I may not be the best at the game but got up to gold last season after only having like 200 hours in the game. The last 10 games of that same season consisted of Neon's and Phoenix's trolling and throwing and brought me back down to like bronze 3. It is getting very frustrating to want to keep grinding the game.

Man I missed times when agents have crazy abilities like double nade raze, double dash jett, triple flashes Breach etc. And they took all the fun, I think what makes Valorant special among all of the fps shooting games is the abilities and character design. Whilst the gun play is random, spray pattern is random, it's the vibe what makes it enjoyable. "Precise gunplay" is a joke still, it feels random but still that's what make the abilities become handy. BUT, the abilities become limited so you have to use it "wisely". I wish there's they bring back the gamemodes, we don't need more skins or agents it's already too much to choose and at some point it'll be overkill... Idk man, Valorant's nerfs some are reasonable but some are just saying "No fun allowed" in your face. Now the game looks bland, no more fun time goofy ah gameplay, the game somehow try to be serious but it fails to do it. The game supposed to be fun and colorful.. IF ONLY Valorant can be a game so chaotic and too much shits happen in a mere second then it can be fun and unique. Just my thoughts.. maybe here's the things Valorant can fix to make it better and less frustrating: 1. Why are your walls make out of tofu?? Yes China owns ya'll but damn the walls is just too thin. 2. The Spd decreases when you take DMG is crazy, you basically become a vacuum cleaning robot with a bullet accidentally hit your nipples. 3. PLEASE BRING BACK FUN MODES, WHICH MAKES VALORANT FUN. 4. Bring back the good old days when agents can be their version of lore accurate!!!!

i geniunie loved this game but coming back to it once in a while feels like a chore. new maps to learn, new agents to know what they do, etc, etc. If you don't stick with it consistently, you instantly fall out of the curve and instantly rust on your skills. I've had some amazing and not so amazing times with this game but I agree that it's becoming just another game

I have 3 issues with Valorant: smurfing, lack of gamemodes and maps. I hate smurfs. I despise them. And Riot isn't gonna do shit about it anywhere soon. Lack of gamemodes is self-explanatory. And maps. Dude, why are they so dumb? I hate those little corners everywhere so you have to waste a lot of time if your initiator is dead. Sounds like a silly complain, but I'm frim CS where some of the maps were close to perfect. I don't support the hate of Abyss though, I think this map is actually decent. People just don't realize that mid control is the key. Anyway, I don't think Valorant is dying or something like that, but its definitely getting into its comfort zone and it might drag the game down.

Riot is also not doing a great job of managing the rampant misogyny, homophobia and racism in the community. As a female player, if I want to play at all I run the risk of being hatecrimed just for existing in a lobby. In a VIDEO GAME. It's CONSTANT, even if you avoid ranked because people will find a way to blame you even if you're topfragging and doing your job. The emotional exhaustion makes me regret loading the game up in the first place.

Cs2 is just better. Casual 10v10 is really fun especially on maps like office, you can que for individual maps or play premier. Then you have the community workshop and server browser to literally play anything you want. I dont know how anybody is still playing valorant other than they are masochists

You have over 1000 hours in Hunt you most certainly played with a cheater at one point. Cs2 its much more common and easier to spot given you can watch replays and check their accounts on Leetify.
