Mid range and vintage are all I’m looking for these days. I just bought a Le Tanneur bag in France. It’s lovely and the SA was wonderful. I had a great in store experience, which makes me want to purchase from them again.

I'm not into luxury brands at all. If I like something and know I'll use it AND don't have anything similar, I'll buy it even if it's a brand no one's heard of. BUT, I do love fashion and being informed. Therefore, I love your videos. Thank you for keeping it real and for all the information. Much appreciated!

For example, here in El Salvador, brands like Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Coach, Kate Spade are considered luxury. But of course, the people that can afford them on a daily basis are only 1% - 5% of the population. However, second hand market has made it easy for the country's middle class to buy these brands.

Did My Perspective say mid range brands produce less in quantity ? No, less famous brands ( not the same as mid range, Coach/Diesel/Kate Spade are mid range, they are famous ) produce less, because they can only sell less, because they are less famous. Which ironically, makes them more exclusive, since less people will own them. The conundrum of high fashion, the more famous your brand is, the more people want it, the more the brand produces, make more profit, but become more common. Before luxury became corporate, all these famous brands were famous for being only owned by the rich who were the minority. Now, corporatized high fashion wants the middle class customer, who is not "elite luxury". I foresee the downfall of LVMH and Kering, by their own hand.

I love mid range. High end nowadays is overprized and overrated. Chanel throw CC’s on a bag and people pay 1000s of dollars for it. It’s not chique anymore, it looks primark

The fashion industri has throw out so much to meet the demande that they go down in quality. And fashionhouses loose money in bags and clothes since that lost in quality But their cosmetic and perfume side has growed. Thats why it goes up. But since demand goes up there too some brand has discussed that use more syntetic replacement in their perfume instead of the real things.

Social envy. Well, this middle class fashion, as you call it, markets itself better when the seller who gets the commission complains about the more expensive brands. It's not that subtle, but it makes the buyer feel better about buying. Why do you have to compare yourself with the big brands and make their customers so bad? It's not enough to simply sell your products. That can't increase the commission that much. It's best to leave the big brands and their buyers alone, they'll leave the others alone too. All this propaganda is disgusting.
