And on the topic of video essayists: I respect the amount of research and other work they put into their content (whether I agree with their points or not), but I don't "look up" to them. But most folks look for someone to follow, so they don't have to put in the work to form their personalities and belief systems and that's totally valid - as long as you're able to reflect that people are still people who can be wrong and not infallible super heroes.

@DARTH-C3RB3RUS5 ай бұрын
Don't be. The video purposely leaves out a very valuable and pertinent piece of information that, with just one search, took me all of a minute to find a whole minute and completely debunks this video. So as reported by popculture on December 23rd 2023 2.26am by John Connor Coulston The announcement came on Sept 12th with both the company and the quzzlemania host issuing statements. While the allegations and findings of the investigation into Blampied are unclear the parties came to a mutual agreement to part ways. And there we have it. Do I condone his prior behaviour? Of course not. Did he own said behaviour, apologise for it agree to do better? Yes, he did. Was an allegation or allegations made by Carley? Yes, it was. We're these allegations followed up by an investigation? Yes, they were. We're these allegations found to be true after said investigation? Findings of the investigation into Blampied are unclear.... So, can I completely debunk this video with a satisfactory margin of error based on an educated guess and limited research? Yes, I can. I'd say with very limited research, I'm about 80 plus percent positive. Findings below. So a man Mr Blampied had prior form for indecent behaviour towards women. From Mr Blampied himself, I believe, hence his step away from KZbin. He then comes back being given a second chance, and someone with much vagueness alleges misconduct again one Carley. Going by the above video and what Carley herself wrote regarding whether or not she would return to the shown she says no because it doesn't align with her values. She does not give any statement of factual evidence but she alleges and I quote "It is all incredibly sad, and makes me sick as seeing abuse within a community I adore is very very hard to stomach" A serious allegation indeed. I emphasise allegation as we now have an article above by popculture that they conducted an investigation but findings were unclear. Now, at the time again, this is an educated guess here, but I'm assuming that after Carleys' allegations, because of Blampieds' prior behaviour and because of the (here's my assumption/educated guess) rabid response on social media calling instantly for Blampieds head, rather than publishing the findings of the investigation and holding their position, they took the easy option as most do and caved to the court of public opinion and Blampied realising the damage had already been done decided to bow out. Now in summary I'll start by stating that we live in the age of misinformation. It is far easier to get something wrong and be liked than it is to get something right and be hated. Do I think Blampied is perfect? No I don't. No one is perfect. Blampied made mistakes as we all do he acknowledged them, apologised for his actions and agreed to do better. Now I do find it very ironic even poetic that Carley says something along the lines of allowing people to change to grow and improve themselves like she's had that chance too etc I'm not quoting her verbatim this has already turned into work lol. Charity work I might add since I'm not getting paid. We live in the age of misinformation always question everything even me because unlike the author of the video I don't have that much hubris to admit I'm wrong. Thank youfor reading if you got this far and I expect this comment to get deleted. Take care mate.

There is one MAJOR factual inaccuracy within your summation that must be addressed. Neither Carley nor anyone else has publicly insinuated that Adam’s copy/paste behavior was directed at Carley. She states she knows someone is predatory/problematic, and later confirms it is Adam with copy/paste behavior. Nowhere in her statement does she imply who was on the receiving end. Many people assumed it was Carley since she made the statement and there was an undeniable on-air chemistry between the two, but this could very easily be her speaking on behalf of another person. She might have heard this accusation and seen evidence from a fan who didn’t want to come forward. It could have been another cast member. We do not know. Whilst I did think the timing was interesting (for it to come out just days before Cultaholic launch when he was pretty much to be the face of them) was definately convienient, theres no doubting that what happened happened and he pretty much took full responsbility for it. He walked away to save the guys who he worked with rather then trying to fight it (although, he was very clearly bang to rights and admitted as much.) His first set of allegations were very cut and dry and his personal statement on the matter told you everything you needed to know about it but the second set from Adam's time at NRB are a lot more hazy. On the one hand Adam's post on Instagram definately read like he'd been given advice on what to say by a legal professional which would imply he's so resolute in his innocence he's fine to go to court to defend it - even more so when you consider his complete confession of guilt the first time around - but Carley has absolutely nothing to gain by lying and saying Adam had done something when he hadn't. They always seemed to get on very well in videos on NRB and her being in their videos gave her a lot of exposure she otherwise wouldn't have gotten. Her comments also imply she was aware of what he had done prior to whatever went down and was OK to be around him so long as the behaviour wasn't repeated, the fact NRB/PFK said they were also offering people free therapy sessions also points to Adam doing something he shouldn't have. I genuinely have no idea.

I haven't really watched his videos since he left again, and I'm debating if I'm going to or not again. My takeway from this video is how completely opposite these situations are: The first one is pretty cut and dry. He asked other women for nudes while in a relationship. He admitted to doing this, accepted full responsibility, promised to be better, and voluntarily stepped away to do so. The second one has a lot of gray area imo. He was accused by Carley of sexual harassment basically, and he walked way again... but he claimed his innocence. He had already shown that he can take accountability during the first situation, so it's possible that he would've done the same here if he truly did something wrong. From my view, he voluntarily walked away again because he knew that his past indiscretions would not give him any credibility towards defending himself. However, has Carley come out with anything further regarding what happened between her and Adam? It's absolutely believable that Adam could've slipped back into his old habits, but there's no way that she just made that kind of allegation against a man with that reputation without anything concrete to support it. IF Adam did something wrong again, he should never come back because he got a second chance and squandered it. But Idk if coming back would be smart for him even IF he IS ever proven innocent against Carley. Hopefully, the truth comes out one day.

I agree. Something seems off about this. Carly's responses are a bit strange to me. She says that she believes the staff at NRB, WT, and PFK are good people but then goes on to say that she won't support them personally and that their values don't align? Her values seemed to align with everyone's just fine for a long time. Cutting people off for simply working at the same place as a harasser seems like an extreme reaction to some sexual harassment in the workplace.

@@tearsong8744 There's a difference between the on-air personalities, behind-the-scenes editors and camera-men and women & the company itself, and I think what she meant to say was that she doesn't support the company. At least, that's my interpretation from how she wrote things down - it's not worded very well, as you say. It's tough, and I'd like to hope that having stepped away the first time he had learned his lesson - it's why people were willing to take a chance on him again and embraced him as a figure on KZbin once more. I would like him to be innocent of whatever it is that he's been specifically accused of - but the time taken on this and the lack of anything coming out about it suggests it's not that simple.

I don't think Adam did it twice. The fact that the first time around, Adam immediately owned up to what he's done, but the second time around, he stayed quiet and eventually denied all allegations while Carley accused him in front of anyone who'd listen to her... You gotta admit this is extremely fishy. Besides, even though he stepped out (most likely mental health), he's still friends with Sully, Tom and the others. Besides, just look at the NRB videos, Carley looks absolutely smitten by him. It seems like _he_ rejected _her_ advances and paid the price for it. To me this is another ProJared situation where the youtuber was abused by his wife.

Yeah. I don't normally "pick sides" in these sorts of drama situations, especially when the details are so sparse, but Carley seriously needs to be held to a higher standard of evidence and it makes me sick that she isnt. She came out with extremely vague accusations that can potentially destroy this man's career and (it's heavily implied) had caused him to be required to take legal action for defamation, but her only evidence is vague ramblings about past behavior and her word. She provided absolutely zero receipts and the whole reason this came about was because she chose to reply to a comment asking her why she didn't work with NRB, which she didn't need to reply to at all. The whole situation is ridiculous once you realize how little evidence there is against Adam and how this messed up his career, but nobody even mentions Carley and her part in it.

Here's the thing about Adam, Whatculture, wrestletalk, PartsFunknown, Norollsboard, all of the things he did from a creative standpoint, the delivery in videos, the way he spoke, he was fun to watch, he is still in the nostoligic sense, going back, watching old videos, but the fact of the matter stands, this man did the same thing twice, Oli Davis of Wrestletalk gave him a second chance and Adam pretty much spat in Oli's face, and for that, I can not stand, or agree, and so while we may all miss his presentation of wrestling, I can feel pretty confident in saying no one misses Adam himself.

Ngl. The whole Adam fiasco entirely was blown too far outta proportion if you ask me. YES HE IS A POS FOR CHEATING ON HIS GIRLFRIEND AT THE TIME but, if i remember correctly, NONE of the women he flirted with were underaged, and all of them were consensual until they found out he was cheating, and then the same thing with Carley. She was legal and he was single, and SHE WAS CONSENSUAL! but then her career doesnt go as far as she wants it too, so she decides to leave and throw him under the bus knowing she would get sympathy attraction from it. And its all honestly just sad. The man should have never lost EITHER job! He didnt rape anyone, he didnt molest anyone, He didnt attract minors. The man just was rich and famous and wanted to privately bang chicks, and it NEVER got in the way of his performance until those women came forward for their own personal gain. Its honestly sad and we as people are too sensitive nowadays. He cheated, but he also got help and the second “offense” was with consent when he was single, so honestly this is ridiculous

And it is VERY important that they are heard, and NO MATTER WHAT I SAY does not change the fact that adam is a SLEEZEBALL for being a cheater. The point i was trying to make however is that, while the cheating was without a doubt frowned upon. The man should not have lost his job and the empire he built, all because he got too horny. He didnt sexually assault anyone, or groom anyone, or take advantage of minors or ANYTNING, and yet he was ousted from his company like as if he was EDP445 & doctor disrespect all in one! The man owned up to it and took a long hiatus and actually factually sought therapy, and then when he revived his career he started another sexually explicit encounter with carley. But then suddenly seemingly out of nowehre, now she is throwing his name under the bus and running to social media saying that the corporate world is protecting him.. even though the last time there was an issue, an even BIGGER corporation had no issue cutting ties with him instantly. And now even though we have absolutely no way of knowing this for sure, it just seems like another case of a youtuber having a flimg With another youtuber, they end up getting envious and “rescind consent” and then when the company wont accept their request to fire the man after their investigation finds nothing inappropriate, then she decides to leave and throw his name out there to tip the scale to her side. Idk this whole entire thing is honestly just dumb on both sides
