@Phyrre563 ай бұрын
Going back to Carley's first appearance on No Rolls Barred, I recall watching it and thinking she is in love with Adam. (WAY before the scandal started.) Something about the way she looked at him and the way she smiled at him - she was smitten. I was convinced there was an admission coming that they were dating. Now it makes sense that they had an online emotional-intimate thing going on, and that was the first time they met in person, she thought this was going to be the culmination of their online relationship and it was going to become real. It didn't because Adam didn't feel any chemistry in person. He "dumped" her even though they weren't dating and has since paid the price. Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned, etc etc. I do believe Adam in this case and I think Carley knew that accusations of being a sex pest would stick because of his prior history so that was how to attack him.

Just how theres people who will automatically believe she's telling the truth & start trashing & attacking him online theres also those who will automatically think she's lying & will attack her so that could be the reason she turned off the comments. Ive seen women come out with allegations & ppl on both sides made their minds up before knowing any details obviously the ones who will think hes guilty but just as many will think she's lying. Everytime a woman comes forward half the comments are saying things like she's lying or she's only doing it for money & or attention. Theyll even blame the accuser. If the woman ces forwards years later they'll say if its true why she wait so long. Just look at Cassie the woman who accused P. Diddler when she 1st came out alotta ppl didn't wanna believe her they swore they knew he was innocent & she was just looking to cash out or thaf she was mad he dumped her. Fast fwd some time & the video of him beating her is exposed proving she was telling the truth despite alotta ppl saying she was lying. Just how ppl like to say innocent til proven guilty for the accused which is true it should also be innocent til proven guilty for the accuser so we shouldn't assume she's lying either. It'd be a hot topic for a week or two, you write something on twitter saying the accusations are bollocks, that you're looking into this legally and have receipts, just carry on and it'll all be forgotten about. There are actual awful people in this space, who probably SHOULD have been cancelled, whose careers and companies are thriving despite documented dreadfulness. I'm surpised he isn't back on WT, PF & NRB already. They're all still friends and really close. I'd be damned to see my friend try and take some imaginary high road, doing the "honourable thing", after being falsely accused of something. People are so disillusioned to apology videos, I could see this going over poorly based on context alone. I think it’s an important note that Z came forth to agree with Adam on the matter. Innocent isn’t exactly the word I’d use - he does seem to have certain issues with cheating and whatnot - But I find it easier to believe him on this instance. HOWEVER, yes he doesn’t deserved to have his career ruined over a false allegation, but like with Vince himself, all must be taken with a grain of salt. Time will tell if he’s being truthful.
@tafua_a3 ай бұрын
This situation is really fishy to me. With the first incidents, we had receipts, texts, and the people he wronged coming forth with stories and screenshots, and Adam had probably the best apology video I've ever seen, actually admitting to what he'd done, not downplaying the severity of it and defending the people who accused him. This time? Other than a Reddit post nobody can find and X's random YT comment that she hasn't clarified in any way in any other more publicly available platform, we have FA. Not even anonymous victims coming forward with receipts.

I believe Adam, as simple as that. His case this time, unlike last time, is compelling enough until proven otherwise. @mamalmi2 ай бұрын
From a business perspective he did make the mistake of dating someone that was a regular guest on the channel, that was creating content in the same vain as his channel. That alone creates a power imbalance in the relationship. According to Adam "X" is the reason he did not invite Angela back on for NRB videos, meaning he was showing favoritism to someone in a business setting for personal reasons. At the very least decisions for who appeared in videos should not have been left up to Adam in such a situation. Again according to Adam, "X" never gave a real reason for why she did not want to work with Angela, and Adam basically went "Okay she will not be in videos anymore."
@TheLastSane12 ай бұрын
@@mamalmi Adam was the channel director and the channel founder, so yeah it was Carley (we all know its Carley) going after the top guy on the channel. Adam admits they had broken up but he was trying to stay friends and this was why he believed Carley about Angela. Also Carley apparently did the same thing to angela she did to adam which is to make vague comments implying something awful but never actually giving details so Adam assumed the worse and trusted Carley to be on the up and up. It was only after her repeated blow ups that he reached out to Angela for details, because by this point Carley showed herself to be unreliable.

Blampied is the world champion of falling on his own sword for no good reason. He made himself out as this uber progressive who would look down on anyone not as "enlightened" as him, only to then have to pretty much gut himself ritually twice now for what.. trying to cheat on his GF? Not that that's good, but it would still ultimately be primarily a personal issue that could have been dealt with privately, but because he did make himself out to be this uber progressive who buys in to all this stuff about "privilege" and "power dynamics", all he did was just construct the pyre he would be burned on.

All I know is from exchanging some private messages with her and her Instagram behaviour in the run up to and during her time in London filming IRL NRB BOTC. She completely switched from being super positive about NRB and especially Adam to being completely subdued about the entire collaboration. I read directly how excited she was to create more content with them, was super enthusiastic about Adam to the point I remember raising an eyebrow thinking something was happening there. Even alluding to Adam hosting her or showing her the uk while she was there. Then all the actual content was very low key, she wasn’t using positive verbage and only stated being enthusiastic again on a future trip or collaboration in Europe or Australia or similar. Whatever happened in the uk in that time seemed to be what soured her in all this. Be it mutual or one sided or her distancing herself from all this.
