Ok so I had my complaints with the last video. Again I don’t have a problem with different narrators. but I do like the unique style this channel has had with presentation with information and editing style of the graphics. this is more inline with what I expect of the channel then the last video. Thank you for reading the comments and understanding we are here for the unique style and the information.

I'm very grateful for Airbnb. I'm surviving currently being homeless as a result of this service. Many nights I've slept in my car because of either lack of vacancy, costly hotel rates, etc but with Airbnb rates are much less costly and I could actually afford to spread my income (which ain't a lot!!) and afford some decent housing until getting on my financial feet again and establish my own place. Thanks guys!!

Much better than the last one! really interesting about how it all started and throwing in some really interesting facts there and here. Only problem I have might be the title, some mention or explanation to try to answer the title of video should be in the video. Also I kinda wish to get some more in depths of the economics. We are maybe a small subgroup who wanna know more, but that would be what percentage cut of every transaction, other streams of revenue for the company and what actually make up the current valuation. Looking forward to the next video, keep it up!

AirBnB might be cheaper on average but if you take into account the added fees and the fact that sometimes it would be cheaper and more convenient to stay at a hotel, then I don't know if AirBnB really will be the death of hotels.

Airbnbs fees are extremely low for a 50 dollar start at 4 dollars from Airbnb and say 7 in taxes still less then half a hotel price and there's millions of airbnbs check out the site the luxe section has homes nicer then any resort you'd stay in homes can go anywhere from 10 dollars a night to iv seen 20 thousand a night mansions on there

AirBnB started off as a great idea - but out of all my friends I am yet to hear of a single outstanding experience. Most were mediocre at best. Hosts might be great, but their places not really or the other way around. Some of mine were downright terrible - I'm looking at you, London. At some point, the price difference from a hotel is not worth it anymore. Without proper & continuous vetting, it will lose traction. The rating system just doesn't work in this case.

It would have been nice if you also mentioned airBnB's negative impact in cities and the critique of the company too. In some cities the residents of buildings are evicted so the landlord can rent it out on airBnB instead, the few permanent residents around have no permanent neighbours and therefore some streets have no community and local businesses aren't able to keep afloat. Thus when using airBnB you really shouldn't do it because you think you'll get an "authentic" experience.

Airbnb is causing major housing price increases all over the place. Corporations have started buying up houses, condos, etc. anywhere they can to turn them into strictly Airbnb hotels. They get to avoid many of the taxes and regulations of the hotel industry while raking in tons of cash. They are driving out local residents and turning countless authentic vacation destinations into corporate tourist carnivals.
@aaronlimitless

These claims are hyper inflated in San Francisco airbnbs main market there Airbnb listings to how many homes are in the area don't even come close to enough listings to have an impact on the home prices its all media minipulated and the real issue is landlords using there property's on Airbnb instead of rent or selling them which again its there places to do whatever I have 3 houses I could rent and make 5 grand a month renting to 3 tenants or I could invest a little more time and make almost 20 grand a month renting individual rooms on Airbnb in each home I have my homes as investments and I'm going with the plan that makes me the most money

First, I'm not talking about the average person with 1-2 Airbnb's. I'm talking about corporations forming who use huge amounts of capital to buy up homes, condos, apartment buildings, etc. with the sole purpose of using them for Airbnb's. It absolutely has increased the prices in vacation destinations all over the US. It's so bad in NYC that they have created laws specifically for Airbnb. They are currently looking to enact similar laws all over. I live in Charleston, SC

They are cracking down on Airbnb all over the world. Also, you don't pay more taxes than hotel corporations. You also don't have to adhere 1/10th of the regulations that a hotel corporation has to adhere to. Maybe you should do a little research before throwing a temper tantrum. Moron...

@@gnualmafuerte Yeah. It's almost as if a functioning society needs farms, industry and citizens to take jobs in those sectors. Unless you suggest that we should have an ecconomy solely based on experiences where everyone that isn't on the board of a company like airBnB is renting places to stay on airBnB whilst subletting their own homes on airBnB Or do you suggest a society where there's no government but people still value papermoney that have no backing in a central bank -- for some reason -- until all wealth and therefore power is placed in the hands of a few that ultimately will have no reason to not exploit people as much as possible? Sounds like it has been tried before to be honest.

You should have added more commentary on the issues that airbnb is facing and the societal problems it is introducing People running businesses in areas zoned residential is distrupting people's lives. A company that doesn't force it's listers to have proper business insurance leaves guests in the wind when issues arise. A lack of support to listers for issues with guests leaves them fucked when their home is trashed. 2008 didn't give individuals an opportunity to raise more income in trying times. Airbnb helped in one of the largest wealth redistributions in history as the rich purchased the poors homes at the bottom of the market. Airbnb has caused massive housing problems in global cities across the world as more and more properties are purchased for the sole purpose of being airbnbs instead of homes for people that live there. An entire generation of people are being priced out of the market. Then you title the video, airbnb, the death of hotels, and hardly even speak to how airbnbs business model actually threatens the hotels or how hotels are fighting back. Your analysis was shallow af. This video could have been so much better if anytime was spent researching the impacts airbnb has had on society. Instead you read the wiki page for airbnb to us, and added some stock images and animations.
