Hey, Lionheart, remember that naval units can be made to land and join the defenders in a coastal settlement. So when checking to see how many units in a garrison, you can see both land units and naval units. When requesting funds from an A.I faction, you can use both the offer and request options to kind of play around until you get a figure that suits you.
@joeriecornelissen18353 жыл бұрын
In Rome 2 political parties don't get less loyal once you become the biggest party, every party has its traits, which determine their loyalty. Loyalty can be gained through generals of that faction winning battles, sending them on diplomatic missions or getting diplomatic relations with a faction of a culture they like. But loyalty decreases when ur emperium level goes up, so in late game fases I like to use the edict for party loyalty on provinces that are ruled by other parties. But on Hard difficulty it's pretty manageable, just check it now and then.

Little tip about navel battles. U may remember they are quite glitchy however it’s still worth investing in a fleet or two. The ai likes to send its army’s to attack overseas sometimes so they can subvert choke point settlements. Just one small fleet can destroy a full army of transports so having some ships around the Mediterranean will go a long way.

Looking forward to this Rome 2 is my most played TW game (not necessarily my favorite, but by far my most played). The mods you are using look interesting. Looking forward to seeing what changes they actually implement. I do like the updated roster cards much better than the weird vanilla ones. I know this is an old series, so this won't matter at all in the grand scheme of things, but as far as the politics system in this game--it's easily my least favorite part of the game. The whole break-away factions thing, rebellions, and all that stuff, it isn't compelling, and just creates more headache than it does interesting gameplay. My rule of thumb is actually quite simple. I never give an army to a rival faction/family/party member. Period. I was playing an Egypt campaign once, and over 50% of my army became hostile when a rival family declared independence on me, and it was horrible. Ever since then, I do not give them armies. I will give them fleets to control, but never armies. This slows my progress down a bit, but I never have to worry about actually being overwhelmed by my own previously-loyal subjects. I also always look to marry off my family members as quickly as possible. The more kids they have, the more potential generals I have, and I don't have to worry about using other faction/family/party members for generals.

How does the political system work? Well Happycampy made a grate Overview of the political system a few weeks back. Good refresher video that one. From what i remember from that, Pay attention to the traits of each political party, the first 2 are from the party itself and the 3rd is from the party leader (so if its bad you can change it). Politicians give more influence then Generals so in times of peace send your parties Generals home to gain influence, parties also gain loyalty from wining battles and try NOT get their generals killed because you get a massive -30 when that happens.

These runes write the saga of ulf drengrson: First all Freeman who want an oar seat on my ship write your runes and tales in this comment thread (I wanna see how deep this story can go so please add on I'll detail point of view of captain but there is no captain with out a crew have fun and thank you lionheart always love the content may not get to be on twich as much but first time writing in a story so cant wait to see where it goes that being said here we go, please excuse the grammar I am a cattle rancher after all) I warn this tale is not one in joy and glee, mostly all I can say is shit happens. My tale begins in jutlund trees and rocks mostly but for my purpose, trading ofcourse we will defend ourselves but our orginal goal when we set out was to take our amber to the blue sea and get rich come home wealthy men, that was the plan and well shit happens. Our maiden vassal was nothing fancy only a 30 oar cargo ship no sails just a beach hopper we called the "Sea-hag" noble girl made of oak and ash. First few day sea on the horizon adventure in our hearts had good those days seem now, our first sign that the gods had just gotten their new play things only few days into the journey, a man yells "there there I see the midguard serpent" and indeed in the foggy distance a seemingly huge white shape seeming to bow out of the sea its self. Shortly after the sighting rain stuck and the type that njord uses to claim his riches, the waves crashed and the rain stung like arrows, going inland would have hurt the Sea-hag, so we headed for slightly deeper water. The night was hard and after all night of rowing and pleadding to the gods the Sea-hag finally pasted into calm waters, but in the dark, the storm, and a touch of destiny we find ourselves adrift with nothing but ocean in site. Being on a beach hopper we pick up supplies every hop no hop no supplies. Shit happens, thinking we were dead that dammed oars man called out again "there there" I swear this time I could kiss him land not just but to you can see two separate lands the city on the south was huge with ships and building we have never seen before, the land to the north was less inviting thick smoke hovered the land so we set ashore to the south. Resupplying trade little of our amber we find out we are in the land of novo cartgo or something, they talk funny but found out that these people serve a larger nation called cart age again I might have that wrong but we did learn of their king hannibal he is on the island Syracuse, this statement was very hard to reason, first off what's an island and what's a Syracuse after a much appreciated finger point we set sail again our very first voyage in the blue sea and we bumbled through it like a bear drunk on honey most our amber shortly turns to the stuff they call wine and shortly that to piss so when we landed in lilybaeum in spring 272 ad and we hardly noticed the armies just miles outside the city but sure enough 3 hours after landing, the city became under siege. We were told to wait with the other ships during the battle and if need be they would call the sailors to battle. Again shit happens or lack there of we heard the fighting closer to the walls but we did not see battle. That fine we are of north blood we belong to the sea. In the days after the battle we are told the kind has moved on his enemies capital and strong king sure after that great victory. Being broke the Sea-hag on her last days maybe we can persuade the king on the founding of a navy our carpenters can help build the ships our oarsmen are the strongest in the north sea. Till next time to the great king hannibal the northman have arrived and we are here to help.
