I’m about to be 17 and I’m grateful for being introduced to Cudi through my brother back around 2012-2013 it wasn’t until about two and half years ago when I could actually start to relate and enjoy his music where it finally hit me this man is my personal favorite artist of all time like no joke I be fan boying abt him whenever he comes up in convo bruh but I’m glad more ppl in my generation are being introduced to him now he deserves this recognition and should never be forgotten abt

it’s about to be 4am and i’m watching this docu on my grandparents’ couch, trying not to get too emotional. he’s such an encouraging dude & so personable in everything. watching the TedTalk a few years ago is what got me more interested in him & i’ve had his music on repeat ever since. Reborn is definitely my go to when i need a push, i’d listen to it walking to work or getting ready for something i was unsure about. im planning on getting my first tattoo as a tribute to the song. i havent listened to his whole discography yet but i’m working on it. thank you for this video, i love him even more now. learning about the things he’s gone through and hearing clips of him speaking really hits differently when you can relate. he’s a rare talent for sure, real and strong as hell. i didn’t even know he was in some of my other favorite songs! his influence is everywhere and i love it. thanks again, you’ve got a new sub :)

35:31 - I think your missing the point of speedin bullet. This was the pinicle of his mental health issues. It was right before checking himself into a mental hospital. SP2H is an artistic cry for help which briliently encompasses what it feels like to be in that state. Thats why the album has no cohesion, no beginning middle and end, no 1 sound or emotion. It all over the place, be depression is all over the place.
