Imran Khan new prime minister, then-captain of the Pakistan national cricket team led his team to an unprecedented victory for the country. It was Pakistan's first and only World Cup win to date - and a moment of extreme pride for its citizens.
Prime Minister Khan, who was already a celebrated cricketer throughout the '70s and '80s, saw his celebrity status skyrocket even further. Beloved both at home and in the West, he had an active and public social and love life - his marriage to British heiress in 1995 making international news.
He also made headlines as a philanthropist, fundraising millions of dollars to open a cancer hospital for low-income patients in honor of his late mother in December, 1994.
It was around this time - a few years after the World Cup victory - that speculation about Khan's leadership potential started popping up, and it was rumored was he was setting his sights on a political career.
Soon he would outline what would become his core issue for 22 years: ridding Pakistani politics of corruption.
And in 1996, he made it official: founding the Pakistan [Teh-reek - eh- In-saf] Tehreek-e-Insaf, or PTI party. Also referred to as the "Movement for Justice," the party was branded as an anti-corruption socio-political movement, aiming to create a quote "self-reliant modern Islamic Republic."
But for almost two decades, PTI Imran Khan's party saw few victories.
So how did this former sports star he end up securing the highest political position in a country of almost 200 million people?

Prosperous? We can only wish. As someone from a third world country, things in countries like Myanmar, Pakistan, India, Sri-Lanka, Thailand, Nepal and Bhutan don't get much better. Also this cycle that you are speaking of is changing right now, Europe is going down with each passing day and the US is alredy starting to loose its power also, and everything is shifting towards Asia. So hopefully Asia will shine as in its ancient history.

I don't know about how things are in Sri-Lanka, but ask yourself, do I see less people walking without shoes nowadays? Do I see more civic amenities on the rural level? Do I see less people begging for money or food? Do I see less people dying of diseases every passing year? Do I see less riots, murders, violent protests, etc. In the nation? If you do then development is real my friend.

Then read 1 again and present it to the owner of Al Ikhlas. When you are going out of your house stand at the door and read Al ikhlas 1 time and blow to your front then read again 1time and blow to your right repeat and blow to your back and then turn your face back to the front. Read again and blow ro your left side. Then walk straight and dont turn your face back to the house. Dont come back to the house but continue with yourr journey or work place until your come back home. If you forget some thing you must call somebody in the house to pass it to you outside the house. If ever you have to reenter the house then stay back for about 5 minutes in thehouse then repeat the ritual again when going out. This ritual: 44 angles will protect you on every 4 sides. - total (44x4). InshaAllah no harm will touch you on you mission. Even your house and family will be pretected while you are away fot the time it last till you come back home.If a n army practise this no bullet or bomb can touch him. If he iscflting a plane he will complete his mission safely.

I am from Pakistan and what i have to say is that from past 35 years only 2 parties are ruling the country and US$ is gone from 30rs to 128 PK rs, because Pakistan has to pay the loan of 94 billion $, some how things where better in 1970 then it is now , one thing which really bother me is still 45% of our population want those corrupt leaders to lead. i mean your country never progress in their leadership yet you still want them to lead. That is why Khan's Quoted in his speech that 45% of children aren't getting proper nutrition and their brain doesn't develop the way it should be. Which clearly indicates that common sense isn't common, Some people come up with lame excuses that he is womeniser ,some will blame him that he is not religious some will say that he is anti US and some people will say that he is Jewish agent , what ever the case is i am very happy that a honest person become a prime minister . yes it is very difficult to fight the corruption when 80% of politicians are corrupt and entire system is corrupt . Their is great saying by great nepolean hills "You can never build an empire with the structure of existing empire ". the existing structure has to be alter which is very difficult , and creating a new one is easy.

Nawaz sharif was ousted for corruption, having factories in other countries and having money in other countries in which not only him but his children are also involved (this is the case with almost all the politicians) and his political party was trying very hard to defend him for something that was his personal issue and not political but they made it political with his party members defending his personal matters on media even though he was convicted. He wasn't right for the country, he didn't do anything right for the country except for filling his own pockets. This country is suffering because of his "leadership" and his "personal benefits" and all the other politicians just like him which is why Imran Khan was the only ray of hope and change and people not only supported him a lot but have now also elected him. And all the people and his opposition who accuse him of being elected by the "establishment" they should not forget how Nawaz sharif got into power. However IK won, its definitely for the betterment of this country and he has already started working on his plans. Also like most things he is very right about the War on Terror, Pakistan should never have gotten involved in it. It has negatively impacted Pakistan A LOT and now that people are aware of many problem, Pakistan has gotten out of US's influence a lot since the past few years and that is the only reason US is so salty.
