Bardzo fajnie że pokazałeś że podczas wojny z 1601 Estonia była formalnie częścią Rzeczpospolitej.

They were hard reachable. It would cause more troops deaths to beat them in their land than defeat them when they come. Also they were easily defeated when they raided. There is even a nice battle among them and Lithuanians. In short: Lithuanians waited for them in a location that the enemy gathers after raids. Lithuanians defeated them even though they were outnumbered.

Unfortunately, the borders are wrong, not their course, but their location. For example, Lviv should be practically on the same longitude as Riga, there are many more such problems. This is not hate, I admire the time put into the material

No disrespect, but I think the map is slightly tilted to show the curvature of the earth. For example, much of the coastline borders on the map seem to be tilted as if the left is going downwards & the right is going upwards, like how it sort of looks like on Google Maps when you are scrolled out enough to see the curvature of the earth. So if you measure the longitude but make the line somewhat slanted, you see that Riga is at the same level as Lviv. Meanwhile, on a regular map (that doesn't show the curvature of the earth), everything would be straight, with west not facing sort-of downwards & east sort-of upwards.

This is a good explanation, and there may be some truth to it, but it's not just about the location of the cities. It's also about latitude and simply the location of the western and eastern borders. It's hard for me to explain, I'll give the year 1619 after the truce of deulino. I can get to the farthest end of the western border of Poland. Now let's deal with something more difficult to explain, i.e. the "recess" on the eastern border, i.e. on the border of the Kiev and Chernihiv lands. On this map, these points are practically on the same level, and in reality this "deep" should be much lower than the farthest point on the western border, even if we take into account the sphericity of the Earth, the difference is significant. I checked on a spherical earth comparable from Czernichów to the area above Poznań. The difference is still significant, although obviously smaller than if I were comparing it on a flat map. It's possible that the sphericity of the earth in the area in the video is greatly exaggerated@@generalaigullletes5830

There was probably the Dimitriads aka the most stupid plan for occupation that actually worked. Basically tsar Ivan the Terrible died, but first he killed his only non idiot heir to the throne, Prince Dimitri, so Russians faced the massive problem. Meanwhile Polish nobility got the info and decided it would be a great idea to pretend one of them is Prince Dimitri, somehow not dead and march into Moscow to claim his "rightful" throne, since for sure the Russians will just believe it and give it to him . They tried to convince the king to this brilliant scheme. The king was not impressed. The noblemen did it anyway. They had succeeded and took of Moscow and the fake Dimitri became the ruler. But it isn't the end of it! The fake Dimitri (also known as Dymitr Samozwaniec or Self-Proclaimed Dimitri) was allegedly a shitty ruler... No wonder, he cared only for Polish interests. So his greatest oponent, Wasyl Szujski (which not only can be roughly translated to Vasili McScumbag, but I am not actually sure if Polish word for scumbag doesn't came from his surname) came with the help for the Russians and finally kick the Polish noblemen out of the Kremlin castle. The fake Dimitri was then killed, dismembered, burned to dust and shot off a canon in the general direction of Poland. So of course the Polish nobility decided they should try this plan once again. No, they didn't plan to convince Russians previous Dimitri was fake but this one is real. They planned to convince them the previous fake Dimitri was real and survived all mentioned stuff. They succeeded, of course. The next Dimitri was, however, even worse than the previous one, so Russians fought once again for their freedom, this time just starving the Polish nobility until they surrendered. Now the day of finally getting rid of Polish nobility from Kremlin is a national holiday in Russia. (for everyone who knows the topic better - please correct me if I got something wrong.)

Co to za głupia wersja "Hej sokoły"? A poza tym ta piosenka opowiada o ułanie walczącym w czasie I wojny światowej, albo polsko-bolszewickiej (nie pamiętam), więc czemu taki podkład?
