@@Zegoggy One and the other arent mutually exclusive. Luke’s ptsd was caused by his fear of death/injury, in the end he had to face both the memory of that moment and his fear. It also showed the other friends that despite them hating Luke for freezing up in that store, they were hypocrites all along due to being paralyzed with fear when their own lives were on the line, and luke stepped up to redeem himself.

In the book this happens a lot. Theres one scene where Dom and Luke are sitting back to back, and Luke is keeping watch. He falls asleep for a moment and wakes up to see a tree that wasn't there before. Really amazing stuff like that all over the book

It was rather boring and like, you already know from the beginning who's going to survive and who isn't. It was dark and not scary (I get scared easily). Some ideas were really good like the design of the "monster". The ending made me angry bc it just stops and I want to know what's happening afterwards!! Also the story went by too fast. The only thing I really liked was the forest and the mountains. Looked beautiful but the rest was not interesting. 2/5

A stop sign is pretty much the same all around the world. Red, bearing the word stop or having an open palm hand. In this case, its a gutted horse with nordic symbols on tree bark. In fact, I believe thats a stop and perform a U turn now sign. A rare but still fully acceptable advisory.

Watched The Ritual 2017 today, went in with no high expectations and I was rly surprised by how good this movie was. The pace at how the tense was building up was paced rly well. No cheap jump scares, just the overall movie atmosphere made this so creepy and scary to watch. I highly recommend this movie to any horror fan.

I'm so glad I have started to watch trailers after I watch the movie. I had no idea of what to expect so everything came as a suprise. The trailer shows almost all the surprises. When I watched it I had no idea if it was going to be a monster, a serial killer, a curse or a group of crazy hillbillies. Real review: Keeps you on edge throughout! There is a possibility you would feel that the starting is a bit slow but it gets better and better. Very intense and has an actual meaning. One of the best movies on netflix 👍

I like this type of movie. Suspenseful, good writing, great movie setup, great acting and no exaggeration on it whatsoever, and no haunting ugly faces. I don't like to watch horror movies whatsoever, but if i have to watch one, i would go back to this movie day in day out. 10/10 from me

One of the many shots that stuck to me from this fantastic movie are they walking through those trees. They're so tall and you never see their canopy, but they have those low, spindly branches across their trunks that are always reaching for the character, sometimes even shielding their vision from what is ahead. Can someone tell me what kind of trees are these? Some shots of them freaked me out!
