The Ritz Carlton South Beach Miami

Not worth it for elite members!
At the time of arrival, I was Titanium and during our 3 nights stay, my status updated to Ambassador. Prior to arrival, I had contacted the hotel via the Marriott Bonvoy App to discuss what vegan options they have for breakfast and also to notify them that we were celebrating my mother’s birthday!

They were very keen to provide a good service and kindly upgraded us immediately to a suite to help celebrate my mother’s birthday.
Check in was pleasant and as we had arrived between 3pm and 4pm, we were offered a complimentary glass of champagne.
Our suite was 275 which was a corner suite. Whilst it is nice being on the corner as you get better views and more light as there are more windows, it was a little noisy during the afternoon as the swimming pool was very close by. Being on a low floor meant we also several visitors from creepy crawlers!
Prior to arrival, I did ask for 3 sets of towels, 3 bathrobes, 3 pairs of slippers and additional water as there were 3 adults sharing this suite. Only the towels were provided. We contacted housekeeping who apologised and advised us that someone will deliver it. I also asked for proper bedding for the sofa bed, as in, a duvet and pillows instead of the usual blanket. I had also accidently spilt my glass of champagne  Housekeeping too a long time but it was nice of them to give us 2 extra glasses of champagne! However, they did not prepare the sofa bed and had just dumped the bedding on the sofa. This is not 5 star service.
The pool is huge and nice! The beach too is perfect! Normally, each room is given access to 2 complimentary sun loungers but when I asked the pool attendant how much would it be to have 1 more as there are 3 of us sharing our room, they said we could have it complimentary. That was nice again.
Between 4pm and 6pm, they also hand out ice creams at front desk and it was nice to see that they had 1 vegan option too!
Breakfast was fantastic and consisted of high quality products. You will see in the video on KZbin at Love Flying And Hotels.
However, for elite members, apart from the upgrade, there really isn’t much value. We stayed at Marriott Stanton which was cheaper and offered more value! You can also watch this video on the channel.

Great video. Btw, I stayed at the Sheraton Grande in Bangkok. Great hotel. Worth the money.
