Thanks! I have wanted to stay at the Fontaineblue ever since seeing it in the opening scenes after the main titles of Goldfinger, which I think is its most famous movie appearance. I walked through it once but felt out of place and like a bum.

Thank you for posting this video. It would have been nice if they hung vintage if photos of sinatra and Elvis performing at that hotel. The renovation is a bit to new for me but I guest it's for the mass appeal. The restoration of the outer part is perfect. Inside is to mainstream. Tony Rome, Lady in Cement and Gold Finger was filmed there.

Interesting fact though - the scenes with Sean Connery, Gert Frobe, and Shirley Eaton were filmed at the Pinewood Studios. Those actors were never in Miami Beach. However, the opening scenes and one shot of Cec Linder playing Felix Lighter were filmed at the hotel.

Hi Ken. This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel and the features and sheer enormity of space is spectacular. It's beyond posh! The section on one floor dedicated to Frank Sinatra was amazing. It really is kind of like being part of a movie to walk around and see all the sights from the past and take it what the hotel was like when Frank Sinatra stayed there! I really loved when the woman and her children asked if they could take a photo of you and the kids got in the video and waved! Really sweet! This place is so iconic! All the features are the highest in quality but it's even more than that! The Fontainebleau is in a class all itself. The impressive seahorse handles on the entrance doors come with such a beautiful design! The mind blowing beauty of the hallways you walked through were just breathtaking Ken! So gorgeous! The chandeliers are so stunning in the lobby! They are such a treat to see! Everything is in this hotel! You are the best Ken to go and do such a fabulous tour!! Nobody features cities and sights as well!!! I enjoyed this so much!! 🙂
