Brady played crap as hell leading up to first two superbowls and played like crap in the first two superbowls he played like crap leading up to third superbowl and played average in the third superbowl...new England was never just on Brady and the offenses shoulders they ALWAYS had a defense that could carry the load (hell during the first three superbowl years the defense was scoring as many points as the offense and the field goal kicker was the top scorer on the team), the whole 14 years in indy and for three in Denver the teams lived AMD died with peyton and the offense because they didnt have a defense if you give peyton bradys defense you are looking at 6 or 7 superbowls EASY... most people forget that new England had a hall of fame stacked defense in the first three superbowls and new England had also just been too a superbowl two years prior to Brady taking over so it was a superbowl team while the colts hadn't even made the post season in like 40 years...

It's so much more difficult to sustain dominance in the salary cap era of the NFL and only 1 QB had dominated the league for 16 years, Tom Brady. 7 Super Bowl appearances, 5 wins. Montana's stats are not even in the same plane of existence as Brady's. Montana had elite defenses for each of his titles and the best WR of all time for 2 of them. Gotta love both these QBs... To me they're #1 and #2 all time...to me Peyton is the best because it was so much fun watching him play and call audibles and pull off all the comebacks he did (50+). I know Brady has 4 rings and a 11-6 rec Vs Peyton but Peyton has 2 himself and with 2 different teams, the first to do so. Also went with 4 different coaches which cement that it was Peyton more than anything carrying his teams. And with a 3-1 AFC title game Vs Brady (The Super Bowl game between them) I gotta give Peyton the edge.
