Felt like I was immersed in a painting by Corot. Superbly framed and shot too. Hope there are many more to come.

Beautiful video mate (like all your vids). You really do capture the magic in angling on your vlogs. Just uploaded my gudgeon video, so on a bit of a gudgeon fishing binge watch atm.

Excellent video. I love doing this now and again, just going to a small tributary with minimum tackle and fish for whatever takes the bait. As long as the float goes under regularly that's all that matters. Can I ask what make rod and reel you were using? The centrepin looked really nice. I've got a Grice & Young Gypsy D'Argent which I often use but looking to start a " pin " collection.

It's a lovely way and something I look forward to doing again soon. I think from memory I was using an Andrew Davis Avon Perfection with a small aerial. These days I use a Lucky Strike and a Speedia. It doesn't matter what gear you use, just so long as you enjoy. Beautiful tackle does help though. 👍🏻

Beautifully shot and my kind of fishing. Obviously a bivvy boy who gave it a thumbs down. It's a shame so many of todays youngsters jump straight into bite alarms and bivvies. They will never ever truly understand yet will still call themselves anglers. I know of several teen carp anglers who can't even shot a float or plum the depth.

Thanks Matty. Love the purist approach as you can gather. Soon be time for some more coarse fishing, I've been neglecting it of late. Stu

Hey Mr Sweetcorn. I have noticed that your mode of transport doesn't go with the clothes you wear or your vintage fishing tackle. I think you should be driving a green Morris Traveller (wood framed). You'd have plenty of room for your fishing kit and you'd really look the part!

I did look into it Clove, but have you seen the price of a decent restored one??? Could get a project, but knowing me I'd never get it finished. A lovely thought, perhaps a little MG would be a better option.
@CB-xr1eg5 жыл бұрын
@@thesweetcornkid266 Clove?? Hmm... Anyway, you may not get your fishing kit in an MG. Don't get a project as it would take up valuable fishing time!
@thesweetcornkid2665 жыл бұрын
Sorry, predictive text can be an arse at times. True re the size of an MG, perhaps I'll keep the Zafira, I can get the boat, engine and all my tackle in that.

@@thesweetcornkid266 Yea but it looks too modern for you! Get a classic car that doesn't need doing up!

Top class video that is so well edited to create a wonderful end production. I used to live in work in Pompey for a few years back in the mid-90's and joined the club fishing some of their waters as well as sea fishing. Now moved back home to Somerset and fish the River Parrett. The top section of which you would love, real Crabtree stuff. Have a look at our club site www.stoke-sub-hamdonaa.co.uk Keep up the great work, so much better than watching the stuff on the telly. Chris.
