I know it looks confusing, and I was confused when I watched this episode for the first time after I had stopped watching around the same episode as you. However, there are so many things that makes it makes more sense. I need to rewatch all of them again so I understand. It has really gone so far and completely insane though. Along the way, after their first time of high school, they have their life reunited 7 years later at riverdale, and then, it involves with supernatural power, devils, ghosts, pararel universe, revive their lives, time travel, witches, heaven, mysteries, new characters, duplicated characters (especially Jughead), revived dead characters, second time of high school, and many more.
