You have to tune it richer for the colder weather. The air is denser so you need to compensate the extra air with extra fuel

Some of these comments are hilarious. Some worse than Migs, he's learning which is great just needs some guidance and half of you can't tell your ***holes from your elbows. Migs here's some advice for ya, the bike jumping forward with the clutch in is completely normal. Obviously not to where it stalls. But clicking it into gear and it jumping forward, still holding the clutch in, if it continues to idle and not die out, your adjustment is correct and good to go. As far as people saying the mixture needing to be changed is incorrect, rejet the bike for the cold if you plan to ride it in this type of weather. IF not, leave the jetting the way it is and wait till spring to ride again! Also to the people busting him saying clutches do not make a power increase are correct and incorrect at the same time, it doesn't make a power increase if you are replacing the clutch before a racing season with a clutch that had worked fine previously(obviously). IF your clutch is slipping or friction plates are burnt/worn out. Replacing them will "FEEL LIKE IT HAS A POWER INCREASE" being that you now have all of your power being put to the rear wheel rather than loosing half of it before it is even transmitted to the rear wheel with burnt/worn clutch plates. ALSO, you can leave both 2 and 4 strokes on choke for a minute or two before turning it off. THAT'S WHAT IT IS THERE FOR.......turning it off and bliping the throttle until warm, depending how much "brap" you give the throttle can result in a cold freeze of the motor, basically destroying a cylinders walls and piston skirts since the motor is not warm, the piston and rings have not seated to the cylinder yet resulting in excess play between the piston and the cylinder wall causing damage. LET THE "ROASTING" COMMENCE!

The old clutch plates must have been slipping constantly. And now with new plates, it's fully transferring the power. One thing you should do for SURE, is to remove the dent from the expansion chamber!!! Please do that, because then you will get even more power. A dented pipe robs quite a bit of power, especially from a 125. That RM125 engine should absolutely sing when it's running perfectly and the power should be quite good! Good luck, the bike sounds good, looking forward to seeing video of riding it at the track.

Whenever u turn slowly put ur asscrack on the edge of the outer side of the seat to keep weight and stability on the tires. Also it helps a lot if you stand up and put your weight on the outer side when ur going slower. Once you start ripping full send you kind of just have to find your balance point and lean in without sliding out but I don’t have to do that until I’m going over 20 or 30.

Bruhh you obviously didn’t adjust it correctly since it took that long. With the outer clutch cover off the main clutch plate has a screw of some sort in the middle, your suppose to re-adjust that anytime you make clutch adjustments. This will allow you a lot more play and you wouldn’t be at the very end of the cable threads like you are. Get it fixed right! Buy a manual

You can use atf type f in your rm. gives much better clutch feel and helps reduce slip. 2-3$ a quart.

If this bike was jetted in summer be careful running it hard in winter without jetting it again. She can lean out. Unless it has factory jetting which is usually pretty rich.

The problem wasn't because the tension on the cable when u install new plates they can stick for the first time which is why it was cutting out when putting it in gear the first time

If you're bike is cold choke and no gas. I put my right hand on the brake reservoir. If it's tuned properly it should fire up first 2 or 3 kicks.

Do you know why it sounds like your bike barely wanted to start when you first started it ? 5:55 because there was so much damn gas in the cylinder , you just rebuilt everything on the damn bike you don't need to be on the throttle everytimr you kick the bike over . 1-2 quick twists and choke on if it's a cold start and it should litteraly fire right up
