The Road To Flinders Ranges - Part 1, Flooded Western Queensland Roads

During October 2022 we travelled a total of 5000 km on a round trip from Brisbane to visit the Flinders Ranges. From Brisbane we first travelled due west on outback roads to end up in Innamincka in South Australia. We encountered a lot of rain and flooded roads west of St George and on the way to Innamincka. The wet season provided a unique experience in the normally drier and dusty areas of western Queensland with lots of water, green vegetation and colourful wildflowers. In Thargomindah nature entertained us with a wonderful display of thunderstorm and lightning.

That's true! Created floods in the lower Murray after many weeks.

Did you get any water inside the vehicle crossing that wide water, i see you have a snorkel, is the Prado lifted?

No, we did'nt get any water inside. The Prado has a 45 mm lift.

Probably should get out to show the viewers the water crossing a bit of a safety issue there not everybody has the same vehicle as you
