Suhanallah tabarakallah. I’ve been wanting to go for Hajj since I registered in 2012. Last month a letter arrived for the 1st time, informing me that I’m in the waiting list for this coming hajj season and there is still no guarantee it will pull through after waiting almost for 9 years. In shaa Allah if Allah will it, there is still a chance I might go this year or the next. Allah is the best planner and He knows what is best for each of us.

Brother Ray, I feel for you but I hope you are able to perform your hajj by now. I remember how my sister was devastated when her doctor did not allow her to travel just a month before the flight. We had to transfer to someone else the hajj travel because it was non refundable. A year after, my sister succumbed to her illness but in her heart, she felt that she has gone to hajj by default. May Allah grant her the highest place in Janna. Amen.
