My dad spent a long time in China for work, he volunteered with a charity to stop Tibetan girls from being taken to India and China. Through his efforts alone, they raised money to save 30 girls. So disheartening the scale of operations.

Why would it bring shame on her family when the scumbag husband was the one who SOLD her into the brothel? It wasn't anyone's fault but his! People should be sympathetic, not add insult to injury! So sad.

Accolades to the efforts put forward for bringing this video out in the open and making people see that there is suffering and the least we could do is acknowledge it. As far as some comments go.. its not bout nationality.. the attitude of abandoning a woman after such a trauma is unthinkable it is a worldwide issue without restricted boundaries.

Most of the translation is not quite right. It has been tweaked a lot! and if anybody would like to join my movement on FB its called " New Youths Anti-Traffickers Club" that would be great. I am from Nepal too and i have been greatly influenced by my father to work in the field. My dad used to have his own company to support the Anti-Child Labor association.

The girls can also be sold by their parents. That is nothing unusual. I feel terrible for them.

Question - Why do SO MANY of the girls run away after being "RESCUED" ? [Could it be because they can make almost 50,000 rupees easy money, compared to a poor nepali boy washing plates who makes rs 1,500 ]
@Lisa1987lisa
@Lisa1987lisa 8 ай бұрын
The sad reality is that they run away as they have lost hope in the police due to the corruption and don’t actually realise they are being rescued. I’ll give you an example there was a documentary of a girl in kamathipura. She got trafficked and raped there from 11 years old. She said after being trafficked for a few years she tried to ask police for help but instead they detained her. Then gave her back to her brothel keeper after they paid the police. Then a man offered her the money to escape but it was a con and now she’s further in debt paying him off who is a pimp. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5PKn4Z7rcRgiaMsi=mpbphYoBG2HWgnvX this is her story. I’m not saying all police are bad , there’s some that really want to rescue girls and help them. But 1 or 2 corrupt ones is enough for the girls to loose their trust.

gosh.. men have abused us women for centuries now.. this is not just in poor countries like Nepal where poverty lies.. but also found in the western world, the only difference is many women chose to be prostitutes.. it makes me sick!!! whY do men even go brothels IF THEY DIDN'T all this wouldn't happen. MEN next time you go to a brothel ( i know alot of nepali men do) THINK ABOUT IT !!

Poverty and hunger. We humans become animals, all of us without exception when under intense poverty or hunger. The family members of these Nepali girls are no different. It reminds me of the situation when Leningrad was under seige for 9 months and the family killed and ate the youngest one first. This is the truth. So selling their young ones under intense poverty is understandable.

I watch the video and I believe we could implant a bug, like they do for pets. Telling the person scanning the implant the name of the potential victim, the address and contact number. We could add the birthdate and so on. Border patrols can scan for the implant. Also volunteers stopping this trade can also do this scan.

It's easy to sit back and blame GOD when everything goes wrong and then take all the credit for ourselves when things go our way. Unfortunately, this is earth and NOT heaven. Lot's of people ask, "How can "GOD" let bad things happen to good people? There are MANY reasons that "GOD" LETS all this happen to people. One of many ways to answer this is that our world does NOT want "God" we just want all the blessings and goodies of "God". Growing up in a 3rd world country myself, I used to

Look at all the predominant Muslim countries compared to the predominantly Christian countries. The Christian countries have more freedom and more blessed with resources.
