The aftermath of Nick’s blindside in BB15 is some of the best unintentional comedy in the show, GinaMarie sobbing like he was just murdered, and her being so ineloquent that Aaryn has to feed her lines to yell across the house.

@@TheMurrmursonbottle not to mention Ginamarie thought the two had way more going on than Nick did, so Ginamarie tried to make something happen with Nick after the show ended that resulted in Nick filing a restraining error against Ginamarie. BB15 would be a top tier season based on gameplay alone, but fuck the cast was problematic in various spots!

Nicole gets flak because she played a great game that people like to sleep on because they don’t like her, which is stupid but I get it to some extent. Josh was the best winner outcome of BB19. No his win is not particularly impressive but I would still rank him above Dick Rachel and Jordan at the very least! I blame BB19 for being a dumpster fire of a season especially because of the cast!

Andy and other BB15 players were criticized for not confronting the problematic houseguests, because it came across as if they were condoning them, but one has to remember that confronting could have ruffled too many feathers and hurt their game. It was production that should have taken those matters into their own hands, instead they left Andy and others navigating a difficult situation.

imo, andy herren played the greatest winning game of all time. i have no idea how he got away with everything he pulled, especially the aftermath of the amanda eviction where he genuinely convinced elissa that mccrae voted off his own girlfriend. and i love how he was noticing things that were and weren’t happening, like nick being called into the dr way more than andy was even though nick is dead boring. sneaky evil genius, good shit. to clarify though, he’s not my favourite winner, my top 5 is dr will, dan, ian, taylor, and josh (the goat), and i certainly don’t think bb15 is a good season for uh. obvious reasons.

@JRJuggernaut1
@JRJuggernaut1 3 ай бұрын
Ian’s win is one of the most complicated to dissect imo, because there is so much working for and against him. His prejury game was amazing, floating between both sides of the house while still making great relationships along the way. His message to Boogie turning Boogie into one of Ian’s biggest supporters after feeling so betrayed is one of my favorite goodbye messages of all time! And Ian’s comp game was impressive to watch, along with his performance before the jury. That being said, Ian’s lack of awareness at the final 6 onward caused him to make the wrong moves protecting the Quack Pack, and the fact that he only made it to the final 3 because of Dan’s game undercuts his claims that he played his own game and shaped his own destiny. As for him beating Dan, I am torn because I don’t like that Dan seemingly had no way of winning due to the anti-winner sentiment that plagued the jury that season. However, I don’t think Ian’s win is undeserved because he did make better connections with the jury, and let’s be real, Ian likely gets Frank, Ashley, Shane, and Brittany for votes even if we remove the anti-winner sentiment factor. I love Ian, but I don’t know if I would say he is underrated. I think his win is decent, 6/10 by the Ethanimale scale, but it does have several noteworthy flaws that prevent me from rating the win higher in good faith!

Ian is absolutely not the most underrated winner. The way he grew in the game socially was impressive, but strategically Dan ran circles around him and he would’ve been out of the game had he not had a run of comp wins. Him getting to the end had everything to do with winning comps and nothing to do with strategy. If we’re truly thinking of underrated winners, Andy is the most underrated by casuals while someone like Lisa or even Dick might be the most underrated by superfans

i LOVE dan, but he didn't deserve to win bb14. His game was incredibly tight and fun to watch, but his underdog status from bb10 no longer applied, and thus the cutthroat nature of his game wasn't as justifiable as it was four seasons prior. His Ian backstabbed many people, but he was an early eviction candidate who went on to make an impressive run at the crown - much like Dan was. Did Dan play the more dominant game? Yes. Did Dan make it impressively far given his threat level? Huge yes. Did Dan deserve to win? No.

Dan was immune for only a week same as Ian. Dan could of gone home week 2, and people were certain that the coaches were going to come in, and didn't take the shot. Julie confirmed that if the cpaches would leave the house if all their members were evicted. So, it's their problem. The coaches format actually destroyed Dan's win equity because a) the coaches were used as scapegoats as production because of the reset button. The newbies were resentful and were against any of the coaches winnjng, especially a returning winner. It went from 8 players to 12 players! A literal game reset. The coaches could be held responsible B) because of the reset button, Frank was saved, so Dan cannot even follow through with his blindside. Remember Frank was saved because he was a production favorite. So he blindsided his only confirmed win condition ie: Boogie and couldn't even follow through with it, thus making the task borderline impossible. C) Joe confirmed that one of the main talking points was that Dan was a former winner in the jury house. You can argue that Dan mismanaged the jury or whatevwr, but Dan had a far harder time to win this season for things out of his control. Plus, 5/7 of the jury disliked Ian. Generally I don't know how you can argue that Dan didn't deserve to win, when Dan when production contributed to the decline of his win equity.

I love Ian and his win, despite all the obvious flaws with his win. That being said I do not think Dan was robbed, because much like in Survivor, I feel the jury is never truly wrong, regardless of how the votes shake out. Dan played the better game, but I think he could have done much better jury management much like what he did in BB10! I am glad Andy gets a lot more love as a winner nowadays. I get that he can be annoying to some, especially if you follow him on Twitter, and I get that some people will never like him due to his complacency in the bigotry that plagued his season. With that said, I do not think Andy is a bad person and I love his winning game! Derrick is a hard nut to crack. His strategic game is some of the best in the show’s history but there is also no denying that he benefitted from the battle of the block twist, team America, and the reset button. He also benefitted greatly from the mega alliance composition that made the game far less exciting! Even removing my biases against Derrick for his alleged affairs and his defense of Kyle Capener of BB24, which was made worse by the fact this was after he and Cody brought the cookout into their podcast, I do think Derrick’s win is one of the best, I just think it falls short of being the best because of the twists benefitting him. I think Dan and Andy are the only players with a more impressive win than his!

Ian is weirdly in a similar camp as Josh Martinez, pardon the comparison, in the sense that I do think the Jury had already made up their mind on not voting Dan. Though unlike with Josh vs Paul, it wasn't a spite vote, since Ian did have an impressive story. And Ian did completely blow Dan out with that speech, exposing the fact that Dan got to play with the scale weighted in his favor (which also further weaponized the bitter jury against Dan.) Though if it was Dan vs Danielle, i think Danielle wins as well, but it's probably not the complete shutout that Ian's win was.

He could have absolutely stuck with them and the next eviction would have wounded them but they’d have been okay and Dan stays loyal. He lost 2 jury votes that week. He lost Shanes for sure and never had Brittney. He was smart enough to know he needed Jen or franks jury vote.

You can say a lot of bad things about Amanda but she definitely wasn’t bitter, at least on the jury lol. She faced the biggest betrayal of the season (by an individual at least, Judd faced the biggest blindside but he wasn’t tight with anyone as much as Andy was tight with McCranda throughout the season). But she was rooting for him even more because of it, she knew he was a great player and was proud of him for making the smart move at the right time

I don't understand why people are saying Andy is one of the worst winners of all time. In fact, he is one of the best winners of all time, at least a top 10 player if not top 5 in my opinion. The reason why I'm saying that is because he's not only a decent competitor who won 3 HoHs and 2 Vetos, he also never received a single eviction vote and was a very strong social/strategic player, being only nominated once due to a worst case scenario that wasn't his fault. Also, an unpopular opinion even though Dan was my winner's pick in BB14. But his win equity by finale was the lowest of the F3 at that time, and I would rather see Ian being the one to take down Dan rather than Danielle. I'm not sure on how the votes would go about if it was the other 2 scenarios but I think Ian made the right choice evicting Danielle because I feel that he had 2 guaranteed votes from Britney and Ashley, and the others are probably going to vote for Danielle out of spite for Ian, maybe not Shane because he's voting for Danielle regardless of who she's sitting next to.

@@Dj-bt4yp I disagree. Quoting Taran: Too often, I see jury management used as a catch-all term to explain away all the complicated intricacies of the game, the jury, and all the luck involved in both. Saying Dan just "should have had better jury management" if he wanted to win BB14 drastically limits your understanding of the game that was played. It ignores the impact the coaches twist had on the original players and their perception of the coaches as potential winners. It ignores Ian's "jury management", which was actually pretty bad; screaming matches with Frank, being hated by Shane, Joe, Danielle, and Jenn, evicting Ashley in the double, and so on. And it ignores all the random variance that went into the particular circumstances leading to those jurors, thinking the way they did, voting for Ian. From the twists, to the particular way the competitions played out, to the kinds of people that were cast on the season. Individually, these things aren't huge, but as they add up, it can be fascinating to examine the colossal impact these things that are entirely out of the players' control have on the players and the game. For instance, if the producers don't make the weird decision to force the coaches to press the button to join the game, and save Frank from being evicted when the coaches come in, there's likely much less animosity about the coaches being there, and Dan doesn't start from the deficit of having to explain why he was about to blindside Frank & Boogie. That gives him a lot more options moving forward, and he probably is able to keep Janelle 'till jury. He also never has to do the funeral because the one guy that had it out for him (for being about to blindside him) doesn't have an opportunity to go on a comp run and put him in a corner. Obviously he still could have also gotten incredibly unlucky with whatever scenarios occurred without Frank, but it goes to show just how much that one small thing that was completely out of his control impacted his game, and ultimately, how the jury saw him. Just saying, "Do better," barely scratches the surface for analysis.
