I wonder what Matthew s position is on 2nd amendment rights? would he be different if he had a CCW in that office? compliance worked out in his case but how about the poor bastard in that previous fast food restaurant he mentioned? In situations like his, when your at their mercy, do you want all the control over your life to be in their hands or do you want to take control of your life (or death) and make it your choice? I preferr to take the choice into my own hands for better or worse and not comply and choose my moment live or die.

It's an awesome talk/story! Thanks Matthew. Really beautiful. This is not the place for a 2nd amendment debate Johnny. Suggestion, maybe research all the other regularly-unmentioned amendments as well. Then...conceive, create, rehearse and finally put it all on the line and find the personal courage to deliver a powerful story to a live audience about all the amendments.... if it is really important to you. Please take the time and careful preparation to hit the Shakespearean highs and lows, make certain you have a throughline to your story and reach your audience emotionally. I am certain you already know to continue with a common thread about your own personal story. Finally make it meaningful, thoughtful and a transformational moment for you, tell your true story in the first person Johnny. Can't wait to see you up on stage.
