KZbinr of this roblox game for 3 years here, in my opinion the beta days was 10000% a copy of the minecraft version and skyblock is definitely stolen (Islands was closed many times due to its name having copyrighted). After about the 6th season the gameplay has drastically changed with its system and kits that its a completely different game than the minecraft one. The roblox version has many kits (abilities) such as 1 kill = more damage, triple shot sniper, eat orb = gain 800 hp, have flame thrower, have fire bombs, climb walls, 1 kill = tons of loot and so on. Roblox has much much faster building and sort of the bedrock minecraft building to it along with its 3rd person mode changing everything. Theres difference mechanics such as guardians spawning around diamond and emerald generators, bosses spawning, bosses that give you abilities, and now more recently there are new mechanics that is voted on for each round such as hatch a dragon egg, all beds break and the map falls apart after 12 minutes, faster generators, merchants spawning with op items to buy, glitched enchantments, snow cones (eat = buffs) Nowdays just hop into a minecraft version then the roblox one and it feels like a completely different game in everyway

Ok can y’all stop judging the game before experiencing it, sure, they may have stole a bit too much stuff at first. But the game isn’t just a 1$ ripoff, they’ve been updating it weekly for almost 3 years now, and a lot of updates are pretty fun and interesting. And it’s not “no skill”, try playing it for a month or so first and you’ll see that it’s actually fun and takes skill. And the p2w stuff, yes, some kits may be unbalanced and way more overpowered than others. But u can literally rent kits for free and try it for 3 days, even limited time kits. You just need a certain rental ticket. + if ur rlly skilled like me then you can easily beat those “p2w” kits. W vid tho skyboi!

​@@ahmednawaz8748 i played it awhile back and i was a little bit of a hypixel bedwars player which is what made me try it. if im being 100% it was better than hypixel bedwars, not by alot but just enough to be noticeable. it was smoother, simpler, and less sweaty. there were also these kits things with different abilities kinda like different classes, which was a great idea but for some reason they were almost always paid so i never got to try many.

I wouldn’t say Islands or Bedwars flat out “copied” Minecraft. I have played both Roblox and Minecraft and if you get past the general early-game of Islands it is pretty different. It has a lot of new areas and items, including pets. As for bedwars, admittedly it is pretty similar but I think kits and the general gameplay differentiates it enough to the Minecraft version.

@ZeKingSG I do initially get this point. Buying all battlepasses = ~25$ Buying any more kits that you may want = ~5$ Nobody buys all kits. It's a waste of money. So the cost of minecraft and the amount of money a general player of the game would spend if equal and not worth. That's where your point is wrong and has many flaws. 1. Not everyone has the money for that. Only a few spend so much money. 2. Not everyone has bought all battlepasses as they didn't start playing then. 3. Some kids buy robux for chores or as Christmas gifts and use it, but that's not a lot. 4. It's simply not worth investing so much money in kits. A smart person would only see the best kits and buy 1, which totals to around a dollar. 5. As an f2p player, I can tell you for sure that it's more about skill, not kits, and with the number of kit rentals you get, you can practically get any kit for weeks

I gave bedwars a minimum of 50k visits (reasoning - in bedwars when u join you get tp to different game also counts as visits and i have over 8k wins which can be also said i got ariund the same amount of losses so i played around 16k games - 30k games in total but since i join lobby it also counts as more and i been playing daily for like 3 years now so thats an additional 1k and i usually dont have one bedwars session per day i had like 5 so around 5k extra), adds up to about 30k visits. Roblox Bedwars did NOT steal anything from Hypixel. The idea of bedwars does not belong to Hypixel, or else any bedwars server would steal from Hypixel. Roblox Bedwars added a LOT more features with new mechanics, kits, and gameplay, and is also WAY more sweaty and competitive. So in my opinion, Roblox Bedwars is its own game that didn't copy ANYTHING. Right now Roblox Bedwars is a WHOLE NEW GAME.

Bedwars attracts a player count of 40-50k while minecraft bedwars can't even get 10k. Minecraft bedwars has practically no updates and fr roblox bedwars has updates every week with a ton of new content. When a season in bedwars releases, the play count goes from 40 to 60-75k players instantly. Roblox bedwars will not die for atleast the next 3-4 years so we can expect to get good content on it from youtubers looking for lots of content and something new. KZbinrs like TanqR, get on average 80 to 200k views a day or the smaller youtubers about 15-20k views which is still a lot. Viral videos on roblox bedwars can get till 4-5m views, minecraft doesn't even have viral videos anymore, not without much content.
