Where did this The Rock hate train come from? Based on everything I’ve researched, Dwayne is probably one of the more beloved celebrities in the industry and is known for being nice to directors, producers and even catering staff. He’s an overall good guy and it’s been reiterated by all his colleagues. Even the guys he went back and forth with like Triple H, John Cena and Vin Disel, all came to their senses and have a newfound respect for him. He even employed his ex-wife at his production studio and they still have a good relationship. Why do random middle aged men on the internet hate him?

One very important thing to remember, is that the Rock spent most of his adult life in professional wrestling where his body took a lot of damage and wear and tear. And he played football in college. Of course he’s not going to be able to throw weights around like he probably use to about 15 - 20 years ago. If you watched him closely during those promos leading up to wrestlemania, and even during his match at wrestlemania, you could see his walk and his overall movement in the ring was slower and different compared to his previous years when he could fly in and out of the ring, and do all the very athletic things that he could do in a blink of an eye. Even though he is still capable of doing a lot of special moves and basic wrestling moves as well, but you can definitely tell he’s not the same, with all the damage that his body has taken over the years. And we don’t even know how many injuries he’s had and how many surgeries he’s had to have over the years. And how many times he had to go back to have more surgery. So I can also understand why he may have that grimace look on his face, as he’s probably pushing through some pain that he has to live with for the rest of his life from his years and wrestling.

5:24 Its not that the weight is challenging. He is most likely contracting as hard as he can to fully warm up the muscles. Everyone makes faces when contracting hard regardless if its even a simple shake weight. Also you have to take into account something far more important like ‼️ COOKBOOK ‼️

You have to remember that he was training to be able to wrestle in the 45-minute match. He actually said an interview that he was doing more cardio based stuff to be able to achieve this goal at his age. He actually flew three wrestling rings to california, hawaii, and georgia, and brought in several hi tear wrestlers for like a 3-month training camp. So if this doesn't look like his normal exercise for size you're absolutely correct coach Greg
@davidpevar8 ай бұрын
You also have to remember coach Greg when you're discussing the grimace on his face as I said in my other post he is also doing a simultaneous wrestling training camp where for the first time in almost 10 years he is actually taking bumps in a wrestling ring. I would wager a guess that he just existing at this moment in time not even exercising is in a great deal of pain just due to his training in wrestling ring. Would take that into consideration when you're saying it looks like he's in pain with low weights because he probably is. I know he was a little injured in his match and was limping after so you never know how banged up he was. I mean you got to give him props as far as wrestling as far as wrestling fans go. Dude wrestle the hell of a match for 45 minutes. Even went through a table. Can't be easy even on the gear
@lilia_spn8 ай бұрын
I think you are underestimating how easy this weight shown in his workout video is. As a woman, half his size, even for me this is incredebly light weight. It is ridiculous, straight up. Not telling you this to argue with you but to really make the point how otherworldly ridiculous this is. Making it look hard just to try to be relatable, is disrespectful and misleading to his fans. Thats the important part of this
@davidpevar8 ай бұрын
@@lilia_spn yea I know how easy 2 plates is. I'm 155 and that's my warm up. I don't know if you saw my second post but in between this workout he had been training in a wrestling ring for the first time in a decade for WrestleMania. Has anyone ever thought that maybe he was just actually in pain from all the bumps he's been taking again? The weight could have been very light for him. I'm sure his in ring training was greatly affecting his ability in the gym. All the juice in the world won't make a suplex off the top top not bang your body up

Still, even I, an average 5'11 180-pound dude, could do 30 lb lunges and 180 lb. leg exercises with ease. A man of this stature, 6'4 with 260+ pounds of muscle, who has world-class genetics and is probably on steroids, would dogwalk through this "workout" regardless of his intention. I think even if you doubled the weight, he could still do this workout without too much trouble. Even if he was trying to get a leaner or more athletic physique, he should at least push himself with something that is actually challenging.

Exactly. He’s basically just training to failure, and he’s working 6-7 days a week multiple times a day. Any natty lifter would burn out or overtrain giving them no results. Because of the PED’s his recovery time is well beyond any natty lifter, he can go lighter on the weights but up the intensity with more time under tension, more reps and shorter rest time. The results literally speak for themselves here
