This actually a true story but no joke I actually had no friends whatsoever back when I was in primary school and all the time I've been called fat and all sorts of horrible things. And most of time they accuse me of which I haven't done and the teacher believed the the other kids from my class instead of me and that happened within 4 years until I changed schools and I am really happy to meet new and nicer people and my life has changed so much I could finally get to experience true friendship you might think this a troll because of my name but it's not this had truly happened since then & I would like to say to the people that were teased just like me YOU are better than that and to never give up because one day it would come back upon them and that YOU soon will become greater! Also it would really make my day if the Rock told them off since now that I have moved on and don't really care about them because it has been 5 years!

But the nice thing is that you're probably an intelligent person who will be these assholes' boss later in life, and they'll never be the good hearted person that you are, even if they change eventually. Losingthedamnweight Oh man... If my fingers weren't so lazy, I'd write you a novel in response. This is hard coming from a guy who held his breath for the movie ever since the first teaser. I was so excited and I tried so hard to like it but I just couldn't. Our buddy, Zach simply doesn't get what makes Superman cool (or Jor-El for that matter - But never mind Jor-El for now). Superman isn't the greatest hero of all time because he can do so much, he's the greatest because he doesn't need to, but does anyway. He has no brooding vendetta against crime or some deep dark history to redeem himself from. He helps because he can. And THAT'S where "hope" comes in. The significance of hope has very little to do with what Superman can do himself, it's all about how he leads by example and inspires people to help others purely because THEY can. Superman is a guiding beacon in the hopeful journey towards global peace and unity. Superman is inspiration. He is the ideal standard that every good man and woman should strive to be. Zach, however, sees Superman as just some uber-attractive dude who opens the door to limitless destruction porn. He gave no real thought into the true depth of his story. It was lazy and it seemed that Zach thought it was a good idea but had no personal interest in the character and idea of Superman. I haven't even scratched the surface but that's pretty much my main concern. All this being said, I am aware it's impossible to make a perfect Superman movie. I just think Zach didn't care enough to do his research. **pant, pant**

Steven Krygger Not even that, he just doesn't care for character or story. Everyone in man of steel is wooden and quite frankly boring. The film has some major pacing problems; often struggling to form a solid narrative. erm... writing was a massive let down i.e "The world is to big" - "make it smaller" (wtf) and "my voice is an island". so to sum up: there's no emphasis on character which means no one cares about a sense of loss which means that any action in the film is just canon fodder.
