Great video! We were first exposed to Japanese rockabilly when we saw Johnny Daigo and his band on a Sapporo Beer commercial in Canada. We were mesmerized...We have since played several shows with Johnny and his band and it's great to see their commitment to keeping rock n' roll alive for the next generation. Very inspiring. Thanks for covering this topic!

one thing about Japan is if there like something it's down to the core and as real as they can get it. Love it hope to visit Yoyogi park one day.

This is a Fantastic showcase of the influence of a beloved bygone Era that still has merit in current times! "Youngblood" was my first introduction to the Rockabilly scene of Japan. These groups remind us that individuality and freedom of expression never go out of style no matter how fast society may change.

Great video! If I have to say something, I would add Black Cats: Most popular band in the Japanese rockabilly scene of the 1980s. They were Japanese neo-rockabilly band formed by salespeople at a store called Cream Soda that sold 50's style clothing.

I’m here because of Johnny as well, and if he thinks this is well researched, I’m paying close attention. I found him by accident and love his music. Thank you for the work you put into the presentation.

nice mini doc, not easy to put all in 15 min. But i also have to say it's surprising that people only learn now about the Rockabilly dance groups from Yoyogi Park, especially when you're into Rock'n'Roll music. Their movement is very well known all around the world and these guys have been icons for so long.

I'd recommend looking into "The Crazy Rider Yokohama GInbae Rolling Special" (often shortened to "Yokohama Ginbae") or Daisuke Shima. The latter runs a youtube channel and was a big artist for J-rock of this type.
