My favorite line from the movie is spoken by Paul Sorvino as Eddie Valentine: "I may not make an honest buck, but I'm 100% American. I don't work for no two-bit Nazi."

A moment please for Jennifer Connelly.... Loved this film in 1991. Seen it a couple of times now I have Disney+. Horner's score was very reminiscent of Project X (1988) and Apollo 13. It was a shame the film and Billy Campbell never got the success they deserved.

I would like to see you review "The Shadow". I realize it has a few flaws (the final hall of mirrors scene is pretty horrible in a lot of ways), but I think it's reputation as a "bad" movie is unjustified. Some of the sets are really good, and I found the tongue-in-cheek acting, especially by Tim Curry, a lot of fun.

I watched Rocketeer on Disney Plus since it went to Touchstone Pictures basically acting as the template for Marvel Studios Legends originally Marvel Infinity and then Multiverse Sagas all female characters are on Marvel Studios Legends using Jeremiah Barton as the narrator for Star Wars when Nicole narrated the entire 2 episodes and Julian teamed up for interpreting the alien language that scavengers spoke.

Such an amazing cast, all having great chemistry with each other. Watched it a few years ago and I enjoyed it a lot. Shame it wasn't successful at the time.

This movie and the similarly 1930s-focused movie "The Shadow", are my favorite movies from the '90s that were considered flops. It's not as if they lost money - each of them made around ten million dollars over the budget cost, so in my view they were both successes. I own both of them on Blu-Ray, and they get far more time spent in my Blu-Ray player than the top ten box office successes of the '90s, with the possible exception of Jurassic park.

Shortly before the movie was released, the guy who drew the poster came into my picture frame store to get the poster framed. I'm not sure if he was Dave Stevens or not.

That’s fantastic! John Mattos was the designer of the art deco poster ! Thanks for the comment and yes I agree not flop at all 👍🙏
