I'm nowhere near the obsessive Rocky Horror fans as many are, but I've fallen down the Rocky Horror/Tim Curry rabbit hole the past week or so. And I must say that this performance of the song is by far my favorite. There have been many versions of the song that I've seen that have been done extremely well, but she brings another layer to it, more soulful. I can't help but get teary eyed when she gets to "I want to go". Outstanding. If they decide to do another Broadway revival in the near future and she's in the cast, I am going multiple times.

@2:42 is incredible. I imagine people telling their friends they don't want to miss this performance. Some performances and exhibitions are a once-in-a-lifetime event. Take advantage of it when it comes your way. I love showing the piano score, give that man the props he is due. For example, @1:52 is a ritardando in which the singer and pianist are entirely synchronized.

Stella's voice is absolutely wonderful... she has a purity and soulfulness that not many possess... and there is hardly a better live female singer in Australia... I met her on the street near the Victoria Market in Melbourne a few months ago and she was lovely, humble, so friendly... I wish her the best for her career...
