I appreciate what you said about Thelema. It sheds more light on why I left OTO after 13 years in it 12 years ago. Thing is that when the local scene was the 90's the Thelemites had the most interesting and organized rituals and parties and initiations. It was a social scene that connected me to Chinese martial arts and medicine which really kicked up my energy levels to blow up my life in a way that led me to basic training, grounding all the energy I whipped up following Crowley stories, OMG OTO is basically his biggest fan club. Now I can more easily just accept him as one of us on the path and being Crowley his main gift was in being audacious enough to steal the Sunlight of the inner wisdom traditions with anyone who has access to books, like Raven of local legends who stole the Sun back from a usurper who hid the light for himself alone to give it back to everyone. Of course there will be wreckage in the humans, it cannot be avoided with so many centuries under the brutality of the vampire makers. Rome and Christianity with all the burying and entombing of corpses carried on the bad Egypt pattern. Good Egypt understood the Pert Em Heru correctly in that you shed your physical and astral shells after they wear out and go through the proper cleaning phases of our energy and awareness before and if we return. Immortal isn't preserving your corpse, it's having a well trained energy body that feeds on cosmic energy so there's no need to steal anything from anyone. Not even a temptation when the real power feels so correct, centered and reverent. I suspect family vampires in the energy that led me into OTO and Crowley. I don't regret having gone through it even though I'm still working on cleaning up the mess. I needed some rocket juice to get me beyond my family vampires far enough to learn things no one in my ancestral line has stopped to consider for a thousand years, at least through the mothers. Although had I not so much of the Roman brutality stuck in my emotional armor maybe I could have just gotten through it with gentler healers. Thing is they weren't available to me very often with all the rage I carried. The Thelemites were the only local group that I could find that had enough cohesion to stay with it awhile and learn some things, more than just magic stuff. Music, art, and natural healing were all things that community introduced me to. As the city changed so too the order changed and the artists no longer held the local governance and it went more like Protestant church stuff and my life went through some ugly stuff that i had to ground out in simpler ways, simpler nutrition, learn to garden, small farm in city, go Zen for awhile, Tai Ji, bicycle, nature walks and none of the high falutin magick stuff. I guess in the fractured state we find the ancient ways we get it where we can, and for me for a time it was with the local thelema folk. That said I think they misunderstand the lore about the sex juice kind of like the mummy maker grifters who gave us so many ugly ghosts to dissolve that no real spiritual awakening is ever easy for very long. It's not slurping up your juices physically, it's learning to feel how the energy there can be guided up into the heart, brain, and even into the torus field of our aura. Not ejaculating very often plus learning to guide the energy to heal and enliven our bodies and minds by drawing it up with belly breath and the sense of energy to really feel it happening with real results, like lust evaporates into a beaming inner glow of rooted presence and aliveness. Eating sex juices isn't nearly as nourishing, can even be toxic.

I think royals who think they have divine rights cause genes are also misunderstanding the lore. One thing I got from the Gnostic Mass is that the priest enters and says something like, "I am a man among men". This is the thing that got the Templars in trouble in France methinks, beyond their banking skills. The fact that learning, discipline, and training are the keys to the inheritance of the divine wisdom pulls the rug out from the inbred dictators who think it's all in the genes. Maybe all these ideas are functioned by the astral vampires made by all the crypts, tombs and graves where the corpses were preserved in some grisly fashion. Only qigong I guess can really deal with it, ongoing discipline in running our energy practices so these ugly things can't stick.

In regard to the conversation around 49min: As an Aquarius myself---- and assuming that I am a fractional version of the larger concept---- Logic/knowledge/science is a part of my skills, but much of the 'Aquarius' things I do outwardly appear daft, but it's exactly the right thing in that moment and I turn the tide of the situation. This daft/madness is something that seems like a more inner knowing that comes up, for the interior depth in the moment of need. So, just as eyes can actually limit your ability to "see" beyond what the organ is capable: ie to see some ethric you have to close your eyes to "see" more. Logic/knowledge/science is an extension of our understanding, however I do not think the age of Aquarius will be focused on knowledge alone, we will need to move beyond its limits to the inside place that I am trying to plumb myself. I think that the earth is attempting to balance the loss of usable fresh water by melting the frozen fresh water at the poles. Both my wife and I went to school and have our graduate degree is history and humanistic studies. I love history but I am embarrassed to tell people that I was educated at a college in the discipline. I would have learned more reading papers in a library and coming to my own conclusions. would have been cheaper anyway.

I've obtained a book regarding this - and felt drawn to do the LBRP on the gadget, before using my pendulum, just based on intuition. Towards the end of the book, which begins in a very light way, the author brings in the necessity of the LBRP to consecrate your pendulum, should you wish to use it for more than mere flippant matters. I'd love to hear your opinion, as you've not mentioned this method, in either High Magick, or Angels (at least from what I remember).

He is referring to "1 Corinthians 13:11" although I doubt Saint Paul was referring to "outgrowing the crucifixion."
