Dear Otoy, I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible work you do in preserving and showcasing classic Roddenberry Star Trek. Your channel is a treasure trove of nostalgia and appreciation for these timeless works. Watching your beautiful documentary, I couldn't help but be reminded of the things that made these showcased works so special. The artistry of the Motion Picture still resonates in its stunning design, capturing the essence of the Star Trek universe. Armin Shimerman hosted this DS9 recollection superbly in his entertaining and compelling dialogue. I must admit, when Deep Space Nine was airing, I found it a bit difficult to fully grasp its brilliance. However, when I had the opportunity to watch it in its entirety, thanks to streaming services and a full set, the true excellence of the series came through in the most enjoyable way. The intricate formula that DS9 presented unfolded before my eyes, and I was captivated by its depth and complexity. One aspect of the series that particularly fascinated me was the seamless blend of science, religion, and spirituality. It was a thought-provoking amalgamation that explored fascinating concepts and challenged our understanding of the universe. The science fiction or fantasy worked and jelled cohesively! Once again, I want to extend my deepest appreciation to you, Otoy, for your dedication to preserving and showcasing these classic Roddenbery Star Trek works. Your channel is a haven for fans like myself, allowing us to relive the magic and immerse ourselves in the captivating world of Star Trek. I am inspired to make something myself now, and for this I am grateful. Thank you for all that you do.

We need a full HD remaster of this show. I was just trying to get my wife to watch it on Netflix for the first time, but the low quality of the footage was an instant barrier to her being able to get into it. :( Also, I really wish we could get all these sets and locations in VR, from DS9 to the Enterprise D. There was a brilliant fan project of the Enterprise D at once point, but it sadly got shut down. Giving us something like that with proper modern VR movement, turning and interaction would just be stunning. Star Trek has never bettered the TNG/DS9 era imo, and it would be so nice to be able to go both watch both shows in glorious HD and go back there and stand in this world's special locations in VR and just be there again from time to time. Edit: Just saw some of your clips for the Vision Pro stuff. They look awesome. But, obviously, most people aren't going to be able to afford a Vision Pro, so it would be great if this kind of thing was assessable in more affordable and mainstream VR headsets too, be it PC VR or the Quest line. I have a Quest 3, and I would truly love to be able to walk around a high quality recreation of the Enterprise D bridge on that headset.

On release, the first two seasons of DS9 were weak, but then Season 3 got things going in a way I could never have imagined. During the time that "Past Tense" Parts I & II aired, I could not understand what might have been the motivation behind the commentary underscoring the Bell Riots, but the motivation and the commentary remain highly contemporary even to this day, and in major world events past and current: the commentary harkens back to the Warsaw Ghetto, and the apartheid-era South Africa, where apartheid was abolished just a year before in 1994. Superficially, the two-parter was poverty, but as I've become three times older and wiser, I've realised, that it's about the othering of an entire people, who finally decide to rise up from the ghetto and attain their freedom.
