Thanks for the video. I use the Blackmagic design ecosystem and I can record in 4K while recording iso and streaming in 1080. I can also record using my phone on the ATEM as well. But here’s where rode is not in the same universe as Blackmagic.

Could Rode integrate the video functionalities of the Rodecaster video into the Rodecaster Pro 2 in the next product? That would make for a killer all-in-one device, combining both video and audio capabilities.

So you shoot with these cameras: - Sony Alpha ZV-E1 - Sony CinemaLine FX30 - Sony ZV-E10 (not mark II) Which of these did you use with the RodeCaster Video device? Did you use these on HDMI or on USB-C?

I only ever use usb-c when streaming from my camera right to my computer. If I’m using a switcher, I use hdmi inputs.

I get you "want" to record in 4k, and you can, but you have to pay 3x-4x as much. Processing 4x 4k signals plus everything else it can do on a $1200 device? Sorry dude, this is priced at a 1080p price.

Yep. I agree. I made the same point in my video. However, I hope we aren’t far off from this being a bit more accessible.

It’s not just you. Not being able to record in 4k is very annoying. I understand why but come on. There are workarounds with atm but the work around is recording in camera, then sync in post manually. So, certainly not ideal. There’s Scripps to Ron probably . But at that point, and defeats the purpose.
