My husband and I were considering buying the Roland SPD ONE. We thought this would be a basic review video, and did not realize we were about to watch one of the greatest solo-musicians of all time. WOW!!! 🤯 Subscribing. Liking. Why does this not have more views?! Buying the Roland SPD ONE and knowing we will not come close to being able to be this awesome 😂 Also, I wish we could all have the perseverance of your microphone to somehow keep standing through literally anything, and never fall 😆

Amazing tutorial and so inspiring - thanks very much, dude! This is best video on YT about Roland SPD::ONE series, especially for the looping applications! :) Your performance at the end is awesome and I like your humor :) Great job, thanks a lot for posting

I am sooooo happy to see this- I have this one, the electro and the kick and use them all for looping. Thought of trading them in and so glad I didn't because of stuff like you are doing-super creative!

The spd kick is a beast! Use the dist to modulate between kick snare and other tones. Makes some really dope sounds through my line 6 HX stomp

Bought that one a few weeks ago. Now I got kick and snare!

You are not the only one with the select button issue. :) I use the SPD Kick in an acoustic duo (mainly use the tambo and rim shot sounds) but I can never remember if I'm on the tambourine or bell setting. Has made for more than a few embarrassing moments during a live show. :) Great tutorial, though! You've inspired me to get one and add it to the arsenal. Thanks!

Best start of a demo video ever 😂

Thanks for the demo ... (I bought this unit .. waiting on it to arrive.) I'll also be using it with a looper pedal.) You say you're not a drummer but you're obviously a solid musician (nice bone playing too btw) I can see how remembering which variation you might be on could be a pain in the arse without a visual indication. Tough to keep track of if you're using both variations and changing sounds alot. I guess you can cover your ass a bit if you loop the wrong sound by using the undo feature on your looper but you probs already know that. Someone else mentioned only using one variation per the 11 banks per song which is a workaround but unfortunately also a limitation. This pedal otherwise is perfect for my needs. Ugh .. would've been so simple to include maybe a green and red light or something like you said. Cheers and nice playing BoneZone.

Thanks! I was thinking the same exact thing. Red and green light so you just know. I guess most people probably pick the sound and use it for a while, but for looping it would be really nice. Glad I'm not the only one using it for looping.

Can you show how to build the loop. do you have a video for that?. I know is not really a function on the spd1, but when you combine the sounds included in a loop the result could be amazing. Thanks 🤟🇲🇽

I'll maybe make a video soonish because I got another spd one, but it's basically just a looper that you can buy like the boss rc-3.

Yeah I’ve just bought an Spd one and have never used pedals before being a trombone player myself! I wanted to loop it as my foot almost fell off the other night! So a boss rc-3 is the way to go? Also can I program more percussion sounds onto Spd one or is it just a kick? If so how is this miracle to be achieved? Sorry I’m such an acoustic kind of guy!

Can I get a church bell sound on to it?
@BoneZone3 жыл бұрын
You can import your own sound to one bank on this one. So if you have a good bell sound on your pc you can

The boss rc 30 is what I use. It's an awesome looper pedal. The boss rc 3 is good too
