I am not a writer but I journal to keep the two brain cells in my head calm 😂 I think this was a great video for those who do reflective journaling to draw deeper and discover the things “beneath the mattress”.

I hear what you’re saying, @tinabourine. And I agree, that’s one of the many pleasures of journaling. So grateful you wrote this. Thanks for watching and checking in!

Pearls are formed when the mollusk secretes thousands of very thin concentric layers of nacre, a secretion of calcium carbonate (aragonite and conchyolin) in a matrix that eventually coats an irritant, either man made or natural. Was it nacre, you were trying to recall? I'm a walking library. I'm really enjoying this series and taking them both serious as a class and yet like visiting with a good friend. I'm also watching them slowly, trying to work it so there is always two available...so I then go back, deep into the many shelves of you records and watch one of those. And so far, of that I've seen, and done in my life, now I had career A.D.D. and I first went to school to be a Chef, and worked in a kitchen for a while, then I went back to school to be a mechanic, and was ASE certified and did that for a while worked in the private sector, car collectors and such...then...(I know it's like the Man of many Talents or as I call it, The Man with an empty bottle, an I the bottle????lol) yes I went back to school again now in my early 30s, going through a Fire Academy and doing my Emergency Medical training and ambulatory time with the hospital and ER time, this was very hard and not so much physically, I mean that was hard too, but what I'm talking about is, it was hard and stressful, so bad in fact that each morning before classes I would gag and have these series of violent convolutions, (great line to use in a story, you have my blessing to use it, just forget me not) it was so hard as I was so old lol so I thought, no I was everyone around me was 18, just out of high school, but I did it anyway and faced the Dragon (my main point here when talking about Fairy Tails, bear with me I will drive this all home I promise) I not only passed everything, and ran circles around the children, but I graduated in Honors and top of my Class all solid A's I studied night and day and when I wasn't in the books I was working out and had zero life really, but it was where outside of writing, where I truly belonged it felt good, right and true. And not bragging here but God certainly put me in the right places as there are many children and adults who would not be living had I not faced that Dragon and overcame my fears. I helped a lot of people in their darkest times, not here as this will be too long but next time I'll tell you a story that's absolutely true about, well not to ruin it but let's just say it's amazing how things line up, or how God gets involved, which ever way you choose to look at it. I'm the good kind of Christian I don't judge, force, or insult, lol I help the sick and broken hearted, the angry, lost, and near death all with love. I was injured and forced to medically retire at the rank of Captain and as a medic, think Paramedic+. Ask any paramedic this and I'm sure he or she will agree, for the setting of 911 and the training we get, we don't typically access the full charcuterie board, lol good analogy, it's First Aid, EMT 1, or 2, sometimes an Advanced day, but no we don't normally go all the way to what we really can do, except one time I won't go into details but on my medical authority I shut down a major intersection and right there in the street performed emergency surgery to save a man's life, when people tell me how fun motorcycles are, I have a story to share with them about just how fun they really are. Again, had I not faced the Dragon... So Dragons are what I bring to the Fairy Tale discussion. Throughout history and time as well as geographically, we have the existence of dragons, even cultures that existed in different parts of the world at different times and not ever had they met, they have dragons. So what is a dragon? A basic all around image we can all agree on is that it's a Fire Breathing/spiting Flying Giant Lizard, fair? There are variations on that theme, but basically that's it, the meat and potatoes as it were. It's believed in the general science and psychology departments that Dragons were a collage of fears starting with the first big one as they are usually busting through the door with this introduction, Fire Breathing... It's a fear of the unknown, and known. Imagine having to deal with lions or Panthers, and wild fires, and storms of high winds and falling...it is the idea of all your fears wrapped up into one creature, the kamoto dragon is a big dangerous lizard as are Croc and Alligators and Caymans, it's understandable how the cultures came up with dragons. Although I have heard man and dinos weren't around at the same time, but come on.... something I think was around that helped bring this dragon collage home...(waves hand through the air) ah... Point to this is, face the dragon, face those fears, maybe you have many so face them one at a time, or many wrapped into one, like a dragon, you will be better for doing it and walk away the victor. And here is perhaps my second and best ending that wraps all this up...of all I've seen and done, nothing frightens me more, than trying to resurface my own platen (spelling on the main roller of a typewriter) than watching your video on that lol oh man!!! I looked at mind and thought maybe 🤔 and then my careful conscious mind said 🧐 are you serious!!?? No. Lol, I have 3 vintage or classic mechanical Typewriters I was fortunate to find that are in immaculate condition, one owner only machines, a 1968 Royal Aristocrat 1966 Smith Corona Galaxie Deluxe 1972 Smith Corona Electra 110 I use them in rounds or depending on what mood or what I'm writing as I find each machine talks and encourages differently. I'd be afraid I'd ruin them, there still some life in mine, but I am the owner where the best days are behind and they will eventually need to be done and I think I'll just send them out, which is another dragon,....what if they get lost in the mail, and when I think about that, and although it brings back that dragon, after all I've seen and think about them getting lost in the mail, I'm tempted to do it myself....for now, I'll just double or triple up on the paper. Alright a tad unorthodox maybe, but... Hope this was interesting, brought a laugh or two, perhaps a smile at the very least; that it finds you well this week! Spirit Up, love what your doing, I appreciate your work, and your channel, it has meaning, meaning to me and to others, and I thank you. "I fear the Greeks, even those bearing Gifts" ---- Trojan priest Laocoön Trying to end with a famous quote. Sorry for typos, written on my phone, and there really isn't any room or way to edit what my phone thinks is better, so consider those words a bonus puzzle. Lol I bring lots to the table. Always a up on the like button 👍❤️

@@TheWriteStuffPro-DamonDiMarco Oh my friend, we all have dragons, and it's important to know you are not alone, by the way my heart goes to you for helping your clint write his memoir, coming across an old rusty sharp razor of a memory is never easy, and for you to help him through that, wow, no seriously that touched me heart, I think the world and other lives in it need love you know, love to my fellow humans is my banner I hold tight and high upon the battlefield of past present for a love filled future. I'd say at least 70% of being a firefighter is social work, next video in the series I'll tell you just one amazing social work I did where things just lined up that gives me tears and goosebumps this day, like wow. Thank you so much for the replays.
