The thing is that none of this is particularly shocking... these are standard, extremely well established arguments. That socialists have these points of view is not really news... It speaks to the poverty of curriculum that these journalists received when taking their liberal arts degrees... What are they teaching kids in schools these days???

I am old enough to remember the Victorian Maryborough Police station being dismantled and replaced with new officer. This and much more was recorded in the Raymond Hoiser books Vol 2. Then we have Sunshine Polce Station in trouble a few years back for making stubby holders with 'Sludge Monkey' on them referring to the Africa population. Tell the Age to pick their topics more in line with Community demand.

Working at my local newsagents for a couple of years, some of the headlines on the Australian were just... the worst. Protesting's contentious for a lot of liberals, but they even railed against climate change and green energy sometimes. The ultimate neoliberal rag, and the people who came into buy them were always posh suited men who had the worst takes ever.

This is just a bunch of read out quotes. Obivously, the conclusion is correct. But we shouldn't be teaching people to be religous dogmatists, that's the total opposite of marxism - the argument itself is the important thing, not that it was written down in the holy text.
